Viktor makes 2 delicious recipes with the shark on the Island! I show you how to fillet a sheephead and bring it back home to Florida. I make Sheephead Francese with Zero Pasta and broccolini!

Oh...The alternative to flour coating and stir fry of the fish can be starch powdered liquid seasoning poured on steam fish, that way it more of a "comfort food" as they call it nowadays, who cares, matter of taste:)

So nice to see you kids taking these bucket list trips. Funny seeing that called a Sheepshead after all my years of coaxing Florida Sheepshead up from the pilings. If they taste half as good as the Florida ones they must be great.
Just another wonderful episode. I just love that you can clean fish, catch fish and cook it very well. I love to hunt and fish and I can clean it too. I can cook also but nothing even close to you and Victor. I so happy to hear he is doing a cooking channel also! Your both amazing, please keep on sharing.

Definitely a fantastic catch this leopard shark is, also it's a beautiful one at that and the colors are great in it too. The other thing it doesn't seem like it's scared of humans either.
Great Pasta option. It takes on whatever flavors you give it. The west coast is a different vibe with the people and the fish. You two leave us with a knowledge and the cooking up another excellent meal too. I wanted more too Victor. Brian will be standing in line for that meal soon😁

You guys are in my backyard. My kids grew up in Two Harbors and Isthmus Cove. Fun fact: Catalina Harbor is the only natural safe harbor on the west coast of the US. The Leopard Sharks are big in population in Fisherman's Cove by the marine lab. You can't fish there but you can fish on the border of the fishing grounds and/or spot them snorkeling.

This was dope! i remember the first time i saw one it was about a quarter of the size but it was crazy i was only like 10 years old snorkeling alone in a cove like that in St.Johns Virgin islands. highly recommend that location and the all inclusive ritz!

Hey Brook where you all are fishing reminds me of Antalya Turkey..the mountains are taller in Turkey. It was so pretty...I was in the US Navy for 22 years. Your fishing trip here on Santa Catalina looks the same...

did you know they call sheephead poor mans lobster? Funny people didn't like the idea of eating lobster back in the day now it's a delicacy. People used to think sheephead were trash fish, they are one of the best fish on the west coast!

U should have went spear fishing I went for two months on the grandpas and grandmas 42’ troller anchored up out side of Avalon and u can’t beat the view under water with giant Black Sea bass huge calicos and sheep leopard sharks all day there most beautiful island ever guys now u need a Cali halibut
Next time for sure! We bought wetsuits for this trip and didn’t have time to get in the water!
