It's true, Diagram popping stuff is good for taking advantage of so many destruction floats, or even just getting Spells/Traps in GY for utility purposes. There's applications for this stuff in everything from Fire Kings to Tearlaments("and if you do" makes the destruction requirement part of the effect).
Just like how Dragon Rulers ended up being Kashtira (Rank 7 spammer) or Bystial (D-Link fodder) but worse. Master Peace in 2024 felt like worse Expurrely Noir but more bricky and less consistent. The only thing Master Peace being better than Noir is it's actually unaffected by any effects depending on the tribute fodders. while Noir still can be affected by continuous effects or effect that applies after resolved (e.g. Mirrorjade nuke)
The best part of True Draco IMO is how well it plays with other engines. Been brainstorming a Horus variant, and Draco Invoked has always been one of the strongest ways to play the deck
Great list. I've also added pot of duality for that extra consistency, but overall the deck has been performing. Not that hopeless going second either.
I love the Monarch engine, it could be expanded a little more with Return to search Heat, and Heat can be revealed for Tenacity, or slim down some 3ofs and cut Pantheism to run it that way
Ive been playing a bit with True Draco and Ive climbed all the way from Bronze to Diamond so far. Surprisingly going second isnt the worse since you can kinda clear fields with Master Peace and a trap. Plus traps like TCBOO or Summon Limit can stop your opponents comeback pretty quickly.
Can anyone tell me if i set Monster from toybox spell, when i summon masterpiece will it get the spell immune? And can the monster that set previously activated their effect because they sent to gy?
Thing is, it's not the only thing. The ability to slowly clear up the field by literally just playing the game as you would with the True Draco backrow, the cycling and consistency of the spells, and the fact everything is just kind of big. All of these are small things on their own, but together they're not a weak package. Master Peace is just the screw that sticks everything together.

Ironically master peace coming back is a lot less impactful than diagram going to 3. I hope we see true dracos/kings again in the meta.
I hope the Archetype gets new support in the future. True Draco is kind of a small deck

Absolutely not needed. This deck has 3 Normal summons per turn by itself and with 3 Diagrams consistency is the last of your problems
