Loyalist bonfires burn ahead of the Twelfth commemorations

- Bonfires have been lit in loyalist areas across Northern Ireland ahead of The Twelfth commemorations.
Pyres were torched in recent nights ahead of the Eleventh Night fires, which are lit on the day when when members of Protestant loyal orders parade to commemorate the Battle of Boyne in 1690.

They pick a nice bit of parkland. Turn it into a rubbish dump from April to July. Pile it up and burn it, destroy trees, indanger housing and electric cables, and expect the council to pay for the clear up. Broken bottles, cans and burger wrappers everywhere.

You wouldn't know about this coz your are dla for life but we pay taxes on everything spent those days and that in turn helps pay for the clean up.

@@infobeam1902bonfires that size are ridiculous and not needed. The park area should be left after the bonfire. Those bonfires melt glass, risk to houses etc. won’t be long before they are outlawed
Happy people, sharing the joy of being themselves. Lovely big bonfire tto marvel at as our ancestors have done since prehistoric times. Food, dance, wonder and camaraderie. Beautiful. Happiness doesn't need a shopping centre or a flatscreen.

There's moves to make these forms of payment exclusive without having the additional or choice of paying with hard physical currency. Everything will be linked centrally, which apparently isn't the case at the moment. Then restrictions can be put on where people purchase and how often they purchase, etc. This is the danger to freedom. With physical money in circulation, they can't do this. Money is actually a source of freedom, but we never knew it.
