How world he have learned all those temperatures back then?
Did he call a different phone number to get EVERY temperature?

The U.S. Weather Bureau collected the information. He would visit their office in the late afternoon before the newscast. The Associated Press would also transmit weather observations and the forecast on the news wire.

hahahha of course they could communicate and send/report/share with weather stations the national temps in minutes nationwide, it wasnt 1750
