It lacks shut-off gates so paving in areas where you can't get a truck can get a bit messy. I would recommend an 8616B the screed is a little more heavy duty and the screed operation is located near the screw so the operators don't have to reach upward all day
The mauldin also goes through at least one generator a year and the screed takes for ever to warm up without it so if you do get one I would plan on having a new spare $4000 generator on hand at all times
