  • Sharks and other highly migratory marine species are some of the most threatened species on our planet, due to decades of overfishing happening on a global scale. Without sharks, ecosystems can become unstable and risk collapse. Beneath the Waves, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting ocean health, is using science and technology to better understand the survival risks facing highly migratory species like sharks. For the first time ever, a non-invasive baited dropcam plummeted to the depths of the Red Sea to record never-before-seen images of the sharks that inhabit the pitch-black depths.

Why don't they tell us something to it so when I send it down there they can bring it back up instead of trying to hope it comes back up on its own

Great job ! Could you please tell me the reference of the lights you've used on your drop cam. I've already made the same system than yours (see on my channel) but i want to change my lights. Thanks !

Looks like a young Dusky Shark (Carcharhinus obscurus) to me. It has small black spot in anal fin, small black spot on caudal fin and dark spot at second dorsal fin which can be spotted on young dusky sharks. Dusky Sharks are look almost identical to bronze sharks but bronze are more reddish and don't have dark spots in their anal and caudal fins. Duskies also live in Red sea. I hope I helped you with identification
Edit: adult duskis have sickle fins but young doesn't have them
