It broke my heart but made me smile at the same time to see Tony let the audience sing. Keep fighting, brother. You’ve come a long way getting your playing back, and now that voice is on the mend, too-I just know it
"Besides" beeing a fantastic Bass-player: Yes, she is also a gorgeous Woman... I love how she dances that Bass across the stage, to backup the solo.. What a CLASS-ACT!!!
I kid you not I live outside of Greensboro North Carolina and Tony Rice used to come to a shopping center where I worked at a bakery because he was in the photography and would go to a camera shop and then to Barnes & Noble I have the pure delight and pleasure of just in passing talk to him a few times and when I told him I don't want any autograph I don't want anything other than just be able to tell you how brilliant you're picking is and how much enjoyment your music is giving me. His smile, his gratitude were so genuine and so cool and I will never forget
I came back to see/listen to this performance..
My God,
Bryn Davies is GREAT..
All things shall perish under the sky but music! Music alone shall live!
Fantastic!
Magnificent duo. I love Bryn's melodic bass playing,....perfect foil to Tony's virtuosity

He and Bryn have more expression in their presentation and chordal arrangement than anything I have ever heard. Their delivery is flawless.
And now she's a nuclear engineer.
When l saw Tony's smile at 8:18,
l had tear in my eyes!
What a superlative performance!
My All-time Favorite Flatpicker thanks for posting
RIP Tony
With Special thanks to Mr. Tony Amenta who at front row center balcony ran Sennheiser 441s. God bless you and sleep well.
Superb ~ wish I could have been there. What ever happened to Bryn Davies? A fine bass player -
Yes, she is indeed.
And I only know because of Tony Rice....
Incredible!
Simply, outstanding...
Wonderful!!!
Sandra Thomason
I wish they recorded a live show and release it either on CD or ideally vinyl.
Great partnership
Bryn is as physically expressive on her instrument as Tony is steely and reserved on his. Fun in the hearing and viewing alike.
She's absolutely amazing.
And Tony knows it....
Nice solo, Bryn!!
magic
David Johnson
ABRACADABRA!!!!!
Bryn.tony. Need I say more
Bryn Davies is the best double-bass player ever..
And I'm from Denmark, home of NHØP...And Hugo Rasmussen..
Tony and Bryn?!
It's heaven to me!!
Tony Rice blazed a trail that may be awkwardly followed but never actually walked again.
Very well said
Is there any more footage from this 2004 show available? It’s amazing. Thanks for sharing it.
Tony Rice, the guitar's own Martin Buber.
Bryn ,is so beautiful !!!

This make me want to sip a bourbon and shut out the entire world
So good. I don’t know of a version I like better than Tony and Bryn’s. Also, I can’t be the only one that thinks a Bryn is a total babe.
pro tip : watch series on Flixzone. Been using it for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Gary Guillermo definitely, have been watching on Flixzone for years myself :D
Bryn is the Double-Bass dancer... And yes, you are right, she's also a gorgeous woman.
bob wier take a note when it comes the wolf bros
I would be willing to bet that Bob so wishes he had been there when Tony and Jerry and David did the pizza tapes

I love bluegrass, I love Tony, I love Bryn. I even love the song Summertime. But, this song is a catastrophe. My God.
What do you mean?
Hmm. That was a whole bunch of nothing.
Yeah, even more nothing than YOU!!
