This is very good Robert. I am into the word bro. Robert every day it must be every day, I have The complete collection of John Lake's sermons I purchased shortly after discovering him. Reading his sermons, no matter how many times I do just fills me with praise and grand hope. My mother died several years ago after much prayer. I went to Florida, from Az, to see her, she was medically unconscious and I had a chaplain pray with me over her and he mentioned "If it be your will Lord". I was very angry with him but didn't tell him, maybe I should have. If it be God's will? Really? That is unbelief and lack of knowledge which, as you know, is very common sadly and amongst church leaders no less. I wonder sometimes why people start churches when they can't feed the sheep but want to collect the wool. The only place I have been able to find anything resembling truth is online. I would attend Curry Blake's church if I was in Texas and near it but there is nothing in Az. I have searched church after church and every one of them is powerless, from my perspective, which hasn't always been what it is now. I am not disagreeing. However, I wonder why it is that in the NT when a person asked for healing they were healed right then and there. Jesus didn't require a time of obedience and spiritual warfare just to get something he died to give us. Not trying to get healed living any old way but I struggle to live right, consistent, and justified so fear that I will continue to lose health until I have a period of constant obedience.
Hi, When you say there are certain things that people can do to block the healing power of God. I believe that is a misconception and hinders believers from ministering accurately and effectively. Curry Blake teaches that healing is provided by grace alone and is not a reward system or hindered by any sin. Only the person ministering is subject to scared cows or there own beliefs and traditions. At best Jesus said he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. Mark 6:5 When the disciples asked Jesus why they couldn't cast out the demon. Mathew 17:19-20. Jesus said it was there unbelief not anything the father or son had done that blocked and cancelled the disciples authority or stopped God's power. I believe that is why Curry Blake reminds believers and clarifies the 15 principles that J G Lake taught. So believers would understand the context of them because they prepare and condition the mind of the believer. So the believers faith can simply flow unhindered and achieve its intended purpose. Renewing our mind and practising these principles is what gives us experience and victory. This type of repetition helps us to learn grow become fruitful productive and glorify Jesus.
