NO. The point is the nails are supposed to look as similar as possible, not too lang and not too sharp. To blend in, and to not hurt someone. I had to make mine shorter once. Also there are no bra-straps, some even prefer no underwear under leotards, but many don`t mind if you dye your hair a cool colour. Like I had deep red once for some days in DanceAcademy, and my head teacher even asked if I could get more of those so I could have that in the graduation show. I would have been the ONLY redhead. So they let you do cool stuff too.;) Like Jojo and her sideponytails and bows. Jewlery is in most danceschool a BIG NONONO too. You can get stuck to someone aso
No, its a rule. I'm not in dance, but as a gymnast its not allowed in case you injure your hands or something, they need to be able to press on your nails to make sure its fine (it needs to be a certain color) and also it can be a distraction
