Mines stopped charging properly and I've only do about 30 cycles in the year I've had it. They don't want to know at all. They won't replace it under warrenty.
I bought this because you recommended it I really like it but it dose discharge a little when not in use. But don’t let that stop you from buying. The quick recharge is well worth the price.
Thank you for taking the time to put this video out. I get pretty intimidated by electrical systems when it comes to how it all is supposed to work and attaching panels, converters and conversions and all that noise. I like how these systems work. Set it up to charge and put it back. Plug in, use it, and be done with it. There are certain appliances that I will want to use for meals I wasn't sure how it would work. I think I understand the whole system better. Thank you.
Hey Chrome! I know this is unrelated but when I was watching your drone footage of the forest at the beginning it reminded me. Have you ever had any experiences with bears while out and about in Canada? Do you take any precautions? Can you relax sat outside the van?
Only black bears around there and they usually hibernate through the winter. More concern with cougars, especially the rare 2-legged ones on Vancouver Island.
Chrome is my inspiration to get a driver's license never had one I'm 37 years old.I Wana build a van so bad and drive so bad I'm just scared of hurting someone on the road.
It doesn't affect what he said in the last video. He's also not pushing it on anyone. If he had his way he would give it to all his viewers that are living in their vehicle. He was just reflecting on how cheap it was starting out a few years ago compared to now with how popular it is now.
Hi can you run a welder off one ? Got a 150 turbo top mig . Thanks Chrome keep the faith. Life hits you the hardest,I had to get back up. It's a code of life
@Simon Nunn it cannot. It would be more cost effective if you buy everything separately. That way you get a bigger inverter to handle the welders demand.
Great video Chrome. Wonderful timing for this. I always enjoy your videos of your adventures with little Cruise. Enjoy your day. Love from Australian. ❤️🇦🇺
Not sure why I’m just finding your channel now, after years of watching van life vids! I’m a retired truck driver(25 years),and have been toying with the idea of buying a van to travel around Canada. I miss the road. I’ve listened to Kevin Rutherford talk about these portable solar power stations before. Great review. They’re pricey, but would be worth saving on a built in system. Have to admit, being in northern Ontario during the winter, the idea of living in a van during the colder months is intimidating. Maybe heading west for the worst of it is the plan! Solo older female,I’m used to my independence and self reliance. Thanks for the great channel. Looks like I have some great content to keep me entertained for a while!✌️❤️ Cheers.
I bought the 1500 a few years ago and the USB/C part quit working. I spoke to them then started emailing them because It had been less than a year since I bought it. They were very difficult to deal with, no send it back and we will replace. They wanted me to start sending videos of how it doesn’t work. I finally gave up, but will not buy another product from this company!
Chrome, with all the power you have in the van, do you still find yourself using it when you are in the backcountry? or is it more for an emergency at that point? Thanks
thanks for this Chrome! for a while now i've been thinking and looking for an alternate power generator solution that runs directly from solar, but also has the versatility of being moved around / redirected at will. thanks for making videos like this, it really helps with the research 👍👍
That 43 ah number is wrong. 1512Wh (43.2V 35Ah) is what is stated on the website. And this is for a 43.5 VOLT system. To find the actual usable amp hour, divide the 1512 by 12v, so it is more like a 125 AH battery.
Thank you, as usual very informative. And I love the products that you guys put out. Because if you don’t do what you do. You have no knowledge other than what others have tried and trued
It depends on the size and the cost of electricity in your area. I charge mine with solar. You can also charge them in your vehicle while driving, but again it depends on the size you get as to how long it takes to charge.
Depends on local pricing, you can find the municipality you are in and do the math to how big your battery is. But the general thing is to support the business while you are charging. Offset what you are costing.
I think Chrome would get a kick out of an Ecoflow solar battery. I got one that's 256wh and it charges from 0 to 100% in about 60 minutes, it honestly is mind blowing!
10:45 I just need to cook something that needs to be cooked for 20 minutes at 250, once a night, and still have enough energy to build a van before I fall asleep.
Absolutely it will, I drove my neighbor last summer from Anchorage to Michigan and he used his CPAP machine on his Jacory each night for the week. We were on the road. It worked well each and every night.
I get that this is all in one for electrical illiterates but getting the felling it over rated if someone takes the time to educate them selfs ,much better can be achieved for the same price. 43 amp/hrs is not enough. My two cents better to have something to build on then having to replace it. Not saying it’s a bad product. ✌️
Dude, ffs, when using your axe KEEP ALL OF YOUR FINGERS BEHIND THE BLADE. You're gonna lose a finger, or get a severe cut if you don't. That's a lot of bleeding before you get to medical care.
There are full time vanlifers who use them.. including Chrome. You can charge the battery on the move, and also many stay at a site to water, electricity etc. OK they will be charging from roof solar panels as well, rather than using external panels.
I'm starting the car/suv life. I got the zendure 1500 watt. Any idea how long it will last I'm only going to be using it to charge phones anf small things like that. I'm in Ny I'm going to Florida then all the way to California stopping everywhere I am trying to figure out if a heated blanket will drain the battery and if so how fast. Do you have any idea? Thank you.
I got a heating blanket that only uses 60W. Just type in 60W heating blanket and some will pop up. I live in Switzerland so my brand is probably not availabe in NA.
Yeah, get those greedy, Mom'n'Pop laundromat owners, just like the ones I used to know who had people dumping old T. V. sets and appliances on their back lot.
Even though it’s getting expensive I love Chrome showing the really necessary things.
I love my little 240, however, I would love a bigger one but so far the little one is perfect. Take care and see you later. 🍻😉🌮
Mines stopped charging properly and I've only do about 30 cycles in the year I've had it. They don't want to know at all. They won't replace it under warrenty.
This video is very timely...we just had a snowstorm yesterday and lost all power. I was wishing that I had a backup plan ❤️
I’ve seen these things holding a charge for months.
Can't wait to hear the ambo trying my best not to be annoying about it 😆
I just wanna see Chrome the first time he floors it.
Jus to hear the Purrrr of that Engine..... Can't wait also..🌿👍💕👍🌿
I bought this because you recommended it I really like it but it dose discharge a little when not in use. But don’t let that stop you from buying. The quick recharge is well worth the price.
I think all rechargeable batteries discharge a little when not in use.
Wow! Six panels to charge the battery. I wish I could have seen the hook-up. Too bad it was cloudy. Thanks for the info.
Nice review. Now off to buy a Bluetti or EcoFlow with a LiFePO4 battery. 🤷♂

The 1500 Pro works like any other 1500Wh power station except that it just costs a lot more.

Wow, that solar battery will take us from our bus to our land and yurt, while building our cob home ♡ love this, love rainy, cloudy BC ♡
Right On Chrome.... Thank you.🌿👍👍🌿
thank you for the power up..Chrome
Nice, but I prefer the Bluetti family of solar generators 🇨🇦
Great info n excellent review
I m thinkin of upgrading from my explorer 1000 now.
Thank you!!
Hi Chrome, thank you 🙏 for sharing, you are very knowledgeable. I appreciate you sharing knowledge with us . Have a wonderful day ❤.
Thanks Chrome Enjoy much love and blessings
He gets things like this as long as he advertises it on his videos.
Sponsorship. We’ll get to see the ambo build it’s funding, so HECK yeah.
Bought a small one. What I could afford on fixed income. Love it so far
Looks so beautiful in the Back Country
Chrome is my inspiration to get a driver's license never had one I'm 37 years old.I Wana build a van so bad and drive so bad I'm just scared of hurting someone on the road.
Yesterday Chrome saying vanlife is getting so expensive. Today advertising product over $2000 🤦♂️
The problem is gas and the price of Vans, he is just letting us know as the rest of the world's prices go up so does van life.
It doesn't affect what he said in the last video. He's also not pushing it on anyone. If he had his way he would give it to all his viewers that are living in their vehicle. He was just reflecting on how cheap it was starting out a few years ago compared to now with how popular it is now.
That's still less than one month rent for my apartment.
Hi can you run a welder off one ?

Enjoy your videos. But not a 14 min advertisement.
Catch ya on the next one.
Awesome! I think our bus could use this.. and yes.. go bigger on power always! 😊🎉
Great video Chrome.

I like the way this Cowman cuts to the chase and gets it done! Thx
Hiya. New here. I just got Ninja Blender/food processor and was worried I might not find a battery bank that could run it. This answers that.
I bought the 1500 a few years ago and the USB/C part quit working. I spoke to them then started emailing them because It had been less than a year since I bought it. They were very difficult to deal with, no send it back and we will replace. They wanted me to start sending videos of how it doesn’t work. I guess it’s hit or miss. They have been great for me.
You didn't ask what important question for van lifers can I plug it into a fuse block to run my 12 volt fan refrigerator lights at the same time
Fast charging is very interesting for these batteries. Thanks for this 😀
My new favourite UA-camr
To bad they don’t use lithium phosphate batteries
can you use regluar solar panels or does it have to be theirs?
You can buy adapters, I have 2x coleman 40w connected to my explorer 240. I think it's a 8mm barrel adapter to sae or mc4.
Nicely done.
Thanks for the information. Something I will be looking at once the tacoma is finished
Can you use the folding solar panel on the inside of your windshield as a sunscreen and charge your battery? Dual use item.
I have the 240 but will be needing to upgrade for sure.
Chrome, with all the power you have in the van, do you still find yourself using it when you are in the backcountry? or is it more for an emergency at that point? Thanks
Wished I had one..Need it.
7:00 and the gas stations are at the town laundromat....lol
Thanks Chrome 😊
Great information. Thanks
Jack Erie’s Rock
I believe the EcoFlow is a better product.

Dude! can you run a small venue concert? (soundboard & speaker?)
Great Demo, thank you.
Thank you, as usual very informative. And I love the products that you guys put out. Because if you don’t do what you do. You have no knowledge other than what others have tried and trued
I just got the 1000 pro and looking forward to running an air fryer this summer.
thanks.
But can they be charged by the DC to DC charger ?
Was expecting a demo using an air fryer!
Is your inverter capable of charging it while driving?
I thought those SolarSaga panels aren't supposed to get wet?
If u charge as u use it it creates almost limitless power supply!
Question: if I charge this at a business establishment approximately how much would that cost the establishment?
That's not chrome!
It depends on the size and the cost of electricity in your area. I charge mine with solar. You can also charge them in your vehicle while driving, but again it depends on the size you get as to how long it takes to charge.

Excellent presentation, looked up the price , over $2000, is it Canadian or USD? I dont need it but I still find it interesting.
10:45 I just need to cook something that needs to be cooked for 20 minutes at 250, once a night, and still have enough energy to build a van before I fall asleep.
How much to change at home in the uk?
Hmmmm maybe a great option. Thanks
Can it SUFFICIENTLY run a vitamix?
i saw someone say they powered a pizza oven on the 1000 watt. 6%of the battery per pizza, so you know, probably
@@ThunderSong an vitamix takes a big start. Please no “guessing”
@@terryvictor1 damn ok 🙁i looked it up and no. no vitamixing coming your way if you buy a jackary
I want a jackery just based on this review
Have you fixed your rear locker yet? You got to do it man!
Chrome .. this is a little of topic but I was wondering if you got fishing poles yet ??
Do the solar panels work on all jackerys

Will it power a CPAP machine for 8hrs?
Absolutely it will, I drove my neighbor last summer from Anchorage to Michigan and he used his CPAP machine on his Jacory each night for the week. We were on the road. It worked well each and every night.
@@jK-yj2tl that's awesome
Shamwow guy has nothing on you 😂
nice
Can you try a 140 amp Lincoln welder just wondering what watts it would be.
Well at least I could blow up my girl friend lol
How much does it weigh?
@35 pounds
❤️🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼✌🏼❤️🐶

Excellent vid 👌
I been looking at Jackey;s too nice video can charge up up with cig. lighter while travel down the road

whichever live in a non-extended econoline?
It’s 1700 bucks…that’s a big NOPE!!
These maybe great for weekend warriors but if you rely on them as a traveller, I'm not sure.
I get it though, you are a paid sponsor
Why wouldn’t u rely as a traveller?

Can this be changed by a DC to DC charger 20 amp that I have installed in my truck. ???
