Right here at home listening to them again after a Glorious concert in their Europen Tour in La Riviera Madrid Respect and Best Wishes Triumph over Tragedy Cheers
yep theres NO denying it..the TGI sound has changed...im a fan since day one..not a huge fan of this album but still love these guys..they deserve success!
I feel that they went more mainstream sounding and that this album will be much better received by people who may not be into hardcore music. But I gotta say, I will never enjoy an album as much as I love Fury and the Fallen ones. The melodic guitar, also the nostalgia I experience listening to it having seen them play it live years ago. I still love this though dont get me wrong.
Didn't finish to listen the whole album yet but I'm already pretty sure this will be one of my favorites. Loved the cleans at the chorus, so different and raw at the same time
Love these guys there music is epic the guys know how to make songs the right way and sound amazingly awesome like this can’t wait to hear this perfection album of there’s to love Cody
The same one-dimensional singer, and the same power-chord champions for guitarists (for those who don't know what that means, yes, it is an insult to TGI's guitarists that *still* play like novices 20 years after forming the band), playing nothing but completely weak music from a technical standpoint, does not equal "evolving." The musicianship on this album is as shallow and lacking as the rest of their albums. If you enjoy music that that has novice-level guitarists, where the music is not complex or technical in the least, where there is a complete lack of creativity in all of their music, where every song is predictable to the point that you more or less already know what's coming next in their songs when listening to them for the very first time, and where the unclean vocals all sound identical in every song, then this band is probably for you!! You kids who don't play any instruments and don't understand music should stop using the term "evolving" when speaking about bands that literally don't evolve ever. It's not a cool buzzword, nor does it make you sound sophisticated or musically intelligent when you use the term in this manner. All it shows is that you don't understand music at all. It's obviously ok for you to like the band, but don't confuse switching from one simplistic form of music to a slightly different simplistic form, as "evolving."
There's some truth to a degree with what Angelina is saying but when it comes to "one dimensional singer", nah. The cleans in this album are not something you can just roll out of bed and do. This may not be the ghost insides best album or anything close to it but it's definitely vigils best album vocally by far.
@@Rob_CaryI should have clarified that I meant his unclean vocals are one dimensional, in my opinion. They all sound the same to me in every song. I love unclean vocals in metal, but Vigil's get awfully redundant and boring to me..
@@angelina8379 and yet you comment on every single one of theirs videos. Like girl you obsessed with them. Like you don't like them why are you commenting on every single one of their songs.😂 Like who rejected you, sweetie ?
@@kasiaxvx5659 There are a small handful of their songs that I have commented on, not anywhere near every single one of their songs. The only reason I even have is because they were recommendation notifications sent by UA-cam. I don't ever search for their music because I can't stand metal bands that are extremely predictable, simplistic and flat-out not very skilled at playing their instruments. Also, I've been happily married for 9 years now, so what you're saying about rejection truly has no relevance here. However, I will say that I got a nice laugh from your implication that I can't handle rejection, when the reality is that a lot of the fans of TGI clearly cannot handle their favorite band getting rejected by someone such as me. It is hilarious to see the defensiveness from the fans when they lash out and attack people who criticize the band. 😂
Want to know how fucking good this album is? It made the gatekeepers come out with wrath! That’s when you know it’s good and they’re on to bigger and better things.
I don't think they did. If you listen closely, there are influences that draw from their previous albums but they've injected a new sound doing so as well.

Who’s singing the cleans?
That's Vigil! There's some layering with Jim and I think Chris in a couple songs I think, but the vast majority of cleans are all Vigil!
Jeezus those cleans are soo good

AOTY contender for sure !
LMFAO. Not. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Is this a cover song
Heard the whole album, really wish I didn't. Sounds like every other generic metalcore band now.
Considering how most current metalcore bands are either emulating 18 Visions - Obsession or 3DG/Breaking Ben/Linkin Park yeah i kinda feel it lol
Womp womp
Its great. Metalcore isn’t going to change so get over that.
