This is where the fun begins.
Paul is that you?
"This stick is gonna last me all summer" That sentence brought back so many memories of my childhood😂 Crazy how time flies
Same. I always played with sticks when I was a kid
I really wish longer video like this have timestamps 🤣
They might go back and add them, since they normally have them on the BW Podcast if i'm not mistaken
they did
Loved this, I want more, I just love seeing more people talking about star wars and their love of the franchise, please do more than just 1 a month this podcast is great!
This was phenomenal guys. Just have a very levelheaded mindset talking about something that so many people blow out of proportion for clicks or to feel smarter. It’s hard to listen to SW podcasts when so many are so full of negativity but you guys are perfect people to talk about it
RIP Colin Cantwell. I met him a few years ago in a convention and he was such a sweet, nice guy. He was so instrumental to the success of Star Wars and it's really sad that he seemingly does not get the recognition he deserves, not even a mention during Star Wars Celebration.
I'd love to see you guys get into The High Republic! It's such a cool and fresh era of SW
I'm super glad to see this. I've been a big Star Wars fan for a long time... A long time. I know the Star Wars fandom can get a little negative sometimes, but I just really enjoy watching fans be fans. Hope you guys have a great time running this!
If you guys are interested in getting into the extended lore like books & comics. Would love to have some sort of book club situation with the podcast!
Never knew they had legs, must have got that Maul hook up with the modders
😂😂😂😂
Badonkagonk looks like he could be named Frankengonk 😂😂 love to see a Star Wars podcast from you guys!! I'm looking forward to the future episodes!
STAR WARS podcat, thats what i need right now, thank u guys :) Will be following
Is Calvin voicing Badonkagonk? 🤣🤣🤣
Gotta leave a comment for the algorithm. This was even better than I was expecting, very excited for more. I have the new Thrawn trilogy, so whenever they get around to it I'm ready to go
Nice to see a positive podcast about Star Wars. I feel like the fandom is so toxic whenever something new comes out. EVERYTHING is an "insult" to original Star Wars, it's so tiring to be a fan on the internet.
Not a big Star Wars fan but I thought I’d drop in to give some love to my boy Grievous!
This was amazing!
It would be cool, if you could change the background for every episode. Like this episode is Tatooine, next is Kamino after that Jakku. I think you get the idea.
But again, great podcast. Love to talk about Star Wars.
You would be wrong. I do not like Star Wars, not really my cup of tea. It's pretty boring to be honest, BUT as I comment quite a few times on this channel. Hearing you guys talk about Star Wars with so much enthusiasm, just makes me want to listen to you guys talk about Star Wars all day long. The excitement is really contagious, makes me want to maybe try watching the movies.
I enjoyed this very much. Another Favorite Obi-Wan moment of mine is in Revenge of the Sith, the final battle between him and Anakin. The whole back and forth, him trying to talk him out of his turn and only playing defense the whole fight. And ofc his emotional breakdown after he thinks he’s lead him to his death/killer him
This was a phenomenal watch/listen! Being able to hear very involved and detailed conversations about the galaxy far, far away that I only wish I could have with people I know without them being really lost or confused is a treat in of itself. Looking forward to all future installments of Badonkagonk!
PLEASE do more of these than once a month! I love watching your guys Star Wars reactions and seeing your discussions in those so being able to watch this has been a real treat. Loved the episode guys, can’t wait until the next one.
I love hearing you guys talk abou Star wars, I didn't know about Colin Cantwell until a few years back when he just randomly started following me on my Lego Star wars Instagram, I was so hyped and was really sad to hear of his passing
I'm a Blind Wave fan specifically for the Star Wars content. This is fantastic. If you guys ever dip your toes into The High Republic I can't wait to hear your thoughts. As a lifelong Star Wars and Legends fan, The High Republic has been some of my favorite off-screen Star Wars of all time. Great episode guys, excited for more!
Love the pod, love the set. Hoping for more than once a month in the future.
Loved it! Please make it a weekly podcast! Keep up the great work!!
6:51 I was born in 1999, and on May 25th, the true Star Wars day. 😊
I really enjoyed this. I'm new to Star Wars and I loved hearing favorite moments and what to look for in the future. I've seen the movies but have just started Clone Wars & even only 2 seasons in, the depth it's provided for the characters is amazing. & am really appreciating the insight and tie ins. Giving me a great map!
Really enjoyed this podcast! Your insights and thoughts about Star Wars have been a major part of why I love your channel and videos. Please do more than just once a month!!!
The first time I saw the OT was on bits in pieces in the early 90s when SOMEHOW NBC was airing it through the week. My uncle's taped it all on cassette lol but I still didn't think much about it. Then the special editions came out when I was 10 and my mom took me to it and that was it, never looked back. I grew up out in farmland as well, but my grandpa built cedar patio furniture so I helped with that. In the middle of nowhere. So I can relate.
When the special editions hit VHS I "borrowed" my friends stepdads copy for a year and a half, and I watched the entire trilogy at least once a day for a full year. '97 - '99 was such a goddamn magical time to be a star wars fan.
I am one of those ppl who’ve been asking and waiting for your Star Wars podcast. Finally! GONK!
so hype, my internet isnt strong enougn for me to watch twitch so i am very grateful that you upload podcasts to YT:))
We will also be having it added to podcast feeds as well. So you will be able to listen to it in other formats if you want to.
@@ncard00 if it was that easy i would
@@ncard00 That's a bit of an ignorant thing to say lad. Usually when people say they have bad internet its because of circumstances outside of their control. Think before you speak next time.
@@ncard00 unfortunately not everyone is as priviliged as you
@@BlindWave googlepodcasts too, thats where i listen to all mine
Had a real bummer of a day and this got me through the night. Great content! I didn’t picture myself being here for the podcast since I don’t follow the official one, but I’m so thankful I stopped in!
It's finally here!! I can't wait to follow this journey
Love you guys, happy your doing this!
That's a fantastic looking set. I can't wait to watch/listen going forward.

Great discussion! I look forward to the next episode!
I love this. The set, the vibes. All excellent
That was great! Thanks guys! I think twice a month would be a good release schedule. Also, on YT, having timestamps would be great.
Absolutely loving this podcast! Is this going to be a weekly thing?
Excited for the monthly reading Star Wars assignments!
Loving this podcast guys! I'm ready to become more star wars literate🔥
This is a great idea! I was raised on Star Wars (I'm 42) but I'm just a casual fan who would love to stand on the shoulders of these 2 great fans and let them do all the work explaining to me all the stuff I don't know or plain don't get. ☺️
Loves this so much !! Keep it up
Exciting!
Shockingly good podcast. I can talk Star Wars forever so it’s fun hearing 2 people and who are as passionate about the franchise discuss it.
Man... Once a month is not enough !!!!!! Keep up guys, love from France, and may the force be with you
YOOO FINALLY this is exactly what I’ve been waiting for >:)
We will watch this career with great interest
Great podcast! I look forward to the next episode!
The more Star Wars the better! Star Wars is how I found this channel. Looking forward to more of this
You should have a weekly or monthly segment dedicated to new Star Wars book/comic reviews
this was great guys!
Peak Star Wars talk
Let's go boys, love it
you guys are the best!
Catching up late on this and will probably never be able to catch this live on Twitch but definitely looking forward to the next one! Also, I've never read Brotherhood but will definitely be trying to read this before you guys discuss it.
Great job crew.

I really liked the podcast, I hope you make them more regular
I sure do love these boys and their Star Wars opinions!

This was fun!
Finally!!
"roses are red,
I love his little honk,
he's the cutest droid of all,
Badonkagonk."
I hadn't read that article about Kennedy saying that about Solo....Apparently it was this:
For many, replacing Harrison Ford's Han Solo with another actor was too big a hurdle to overcome. For Kennedy, it was a lesson learned. "There should be moments along the way when you learn things," Kennedy said. "Now it does seem so abundantly clear that we can’t do that."
Arguably....she's not saying "Alden was a mistake"...but moreso.... "It looks like recasting isn't a popular move with the fans."
That being said...its still a bad take. The reason Solo bombed wasn't Alden... it was that they made it twice and doubled its budget.....and then released it 6-7 months before they should have.
ONCE A MONTH? NOOOO THIS IS SOOOO GOOOD GUYS
the 8 hour long VHS tape with all the movies LMAOOOO im glad i wasnt the only one with that. Boy that brought back memories.
Get these up on Spotify so I can add them to my weekly work podcast schedule!
i love this keep this going BW much love from OZ
Don’t underestimate my power!!!
I have to agree about Rogue one. I actually think it's one of the best star wars movies
I'm imagining there's gonna be guest, and hopefully we'll get Sam witwer here X'D
i'd love to see you guys dive into tThe High Republic era. there's already a chunk of it but the next phase isn't til later this year so you could always catch up quite easily, with audiobooks & a Marvel Unlimited subscription, ngl...
very cool
First of all, love seeing you talk about Star wars.
My main problem with the franchise as a whole is kind of like the negative side of the "one big mythology" Eric mentioned. Mostly, the fact that the franchise seems to use that as a crutch to attract people's attention by bringing old characters to new stuff that both overshadow whatever the new thing is doing and doesn't amount to much. For example, Mandalorian season 2 handled returning characters really well, meanwhile Book of Boba Fett kind of fell into that problem
Another problem is the whole "using supplementary media to retroactively fix the holes in the movies"; don´t get me wrong, i love that the franchise can expand on some elements that weren´t adressed in too much detail, but i don´t like using that as an excuse to leave stuff that should be important to the instalment they were introduced in unadressed.
Started watching yous 2 weeks ago and have seen almost every video why did it take me so long to find yous arghhh LOL. Good job boys, ever thought about watching jj Abraham's fringe?
Rouge one is a masterpiece
"From a certain point of view" - the phrase that had the most influence on who I am as a person...
Great start to the podcast, is it on Spotify?
Ah, another podcast for my collection.
I've been looking forward to this.
Eric, it's the Trillium massacre that Finn mentions to Rey when him, Rey, Han, and Chewie are trying to escape the Rathtars. I will also add that the Second Sister, Trilla Suduri, is my favorite Inquisitor we have met thus far. I do really like Fifth Brother from an aesthetic standpoint. I hope we get more from Sung Kang as him in Kenobi.
The set has a Mystery Science Theater 3000 feel to it. Nice, nice
Ohh Yeaahhhhhhh
Calvin just yelling GONK GONK GONK
Yesssss
Honestly you guys are the reason ive gotten so into star wars....with that being said can we get a rick wrestling podcast
I Hope, that we will see a special guest star Ricky Martin next time.
Rogue One and Revenge of the Sith are probably my 2 Favourite Star Wars Films!
Nice
ngl, every time the gonk talked i jumped a little, keep thinking someone is outside my door yelling in lol
We’ve been expecting you.
