Play boosters dont come out for quite awhile.
Around 4:40 you sais they brought explore back but it didn't have much synergy. Were you referring to the original Ixalan and Rivals of Ixalan set because looking at the new mechanics (caves, descend, craft) it seems the ability to essentially surveil seems incredibly synergistic in this set
Yeah, I was talking about the original explore mechanic. It was fun in standard but never really made an impact on commander. Now that there is more support, it's possible to make a commander deck showcasing the mechanic.
My lotr prerelease was similar to this box. Most of my rares were lands

Thats cool and all but why are you opening packs before it's official launch?
Once the cards have been revealed, the Friday before the prerelease content creators can open merchandise just can't release it
This set looks so bad especially with the price increase. You have a low chance to hit the jackpot in this set and a lot of the Rares are quite trash....

mana crypt and other special guest only come in set booster and collector booster, and pre-rel only get draft booster so sadly no
what color(s) do u think are the strongest in this set for sealed format ?
That's a tough one, it's very tribal focused, but looking at the cards so far, I'm leaning more towards white/green.
@@ozmtg interesting! Green seems very strong overall, white i feel like isnt to strong, just produces alot of tokens but dont seem how it deals with the other colors. Black green or black blue seemed interesting aswell, thoughts ?

As usual for most sets that can be played as sealed: white.

I have found a lot of old Star City games Matt's on eBay sold by Star City games
