My friend got me into the band by playing the whole Black Parade Album and now, for some reason, that album means so much to me. I literally fell in love with this band after hearing like half of each of those songs in the album. Hes out of his phase but I'll never be tired of this band. The song I use to listen to on repeat when you get to escape all the abuse in my home you have no idea how much this song helped I still get chills to this day
This music helps me when I’m depressed because it makes me feel better that they understand what you are going through,I feel like Gerard really knows and amplified his emotions through his lyrics. MCR’s music always help me it’s like a safe haven for me because even the fandom know what I’m going through and we all relate on some level🖤

I can't say im a fan of MCR but when i was 9 this was the song and album that got me into rock/metal so to me the Black parade album will always be there best album for that reason.
they split because gerard wanted to end it when they were at their highest so they will always be remeberd as "that band was amazing" "they changed lives" and not that band that just died out and faded away. :) they might reform for charitys events / a reunion but i highly doubt they will form again, all of the members pretty much have moved on, gerard has gone solo. etc etc etc
Peter Alexander I an interview about the last full album, danger days, where for a small amount of time Gerard had a relapse into alcohol because of having to keep up with the band and that he stopped eating. He was unhappy and was afraid of having another relapse. Looking back on some of the late danger days pictures he looked really thin.

No you're not. Don't be to hard on yourself. It's better to address that kind of subject with him rather then leave him in the darkness of those thoughts. It's something that needs to be talked about and even though he cried that can be a good thing to let that kinda stuff out. Just try and be there for him, let him know he has support and love and that he is not alone. I hope all works out for you in the end.
