hi there was a biopic of abba a few years ago i think it was around the 1973-74 period the person portraying frida had short curly hair there was a scene where they was in the studio do u know where it was from i dont think it was english
the irony that this is a tribute to ABBA when it's one of their worst singles. It's only the title that is iconic, IMO, though I get it's popular with a lot of fans. Just not my favourite, personally.
Actually it never was a single during their active period and wasn't concepted as single-release, it only was released as a single in1983 by the record company. But I'm sure it would have been a major success, even though it's musically demanding.

Being a Brit theres a lot of Swedish artists here that I'm unfamiliar with but, what a joy to see this video coming together in celebration of ABBA's 50th Anniversary of winning Eurovision with 'Waterloo' and breaking out onto an international stage. Nice to see those who worked with ABBA throughout the years, Tommy Korberg, Bjorn Skifs, Ann-Louise Hanson-Glenmark and ABBA's amazing manager Gorel Hanser. Its without a doubt the most anthemic ABBA track to record for such a tribute.

GlenStudio where ABBA recorded various songs was owned by the husband of the lady whom you see at 14:20. Ann-Louise Hanson-Glenmark. She was in a group together with husband Bruno and their nephew and niece Anders & Karin Glenmark later comprising the duo GEMINI.

What a beautiful amalgamation of artists from very different backgrounds and genres to show how music can unite people - and what a magnificent and well-loved ABBA melody. The whole production is magnificent and pretty powerful. Yep, it has the power to shed a tear or two..... but to move human emotion and invoke memories - that's a sign of good music isn't it ?! Thank you for uploading.

There was a Swedish biopic of Ted Gärdestad in 2017 where Frida appeared in short curly hair. That's the only one I can think of.
