Busiest three men in the business. Miss you already, Dusty. RIP.
Too bad he wasn't busy shaving 😬
Next to Rush!! Simply fricken amazing!
Rush has something to say about that but ZZ Top is up there 100%
😢
Царство ему небесное😢😊
RIP Dusty. The most loyal band of all time. No change ups, nobody quit, nobody fired. The rock world will miss you Dusty.
Without doing any research I think RUSH is right up there with them on the no changes thing....
@@SCLARK2112 I would agree.
Each member never went out and did a solo album
@@SCLARK2112 There were actually a ton of changes very early on, before any records were released mind you; and a lone change from there debut to Fly by Night, John Rutsey was the original drummer and he would later get replaced by the man, the myth, the legend Neil Peart.

Not exactly … after La Futura, Billy F Gibbons has released 3 solo albums, first in 2015, latest in June 21. I‘m sure Dusty and Frank were OK with that. Great music, absolutely worth listening to.
RIP Dusty … you didn‘t have to do it like you did, but I THANK YOU !!!
The chemistry here is SICK. RIP Dusty. Godspeed. God Bless.
those twins rocked together
RIP Mr. Dusty Hill. Thanks for giving us all that rock over the years dude.
The world is a lesser place without Dusty. Always came across as a modest man who you would be happy to share a beer with.
Hasta siempre amigo...!!! ;)

RIP Dusty, you’ll never be forgotten.
Ever
Yeah...
R.I.P. Dusty Hill
@arthurmiller83
As a bassist im telling you, Dusty is making this look easier than it actually is. It's not a super simple baseline, and he makes it look like he's doing nothing.
One of my favortie bands ever
Every great bassist makes it look easy. And Dusty is one of the best.
When you've got a band like this with only one guitarist and one bassist there is a lot of responsibility to fill out the sound which I find impressive
He also wrote it, so he knows what hes playing. Dusty is great though, one of my favorites
Sadly he's no longer with us
The awesome part is that past the outfits, the beards, and the furry guitars, they're actually amazing musicians. They make it look effortless but they're all, especially BG, playing unique stuff that almost nobody can imitate. Love it, timeless band
They have great chemistry. They've enjoyed playing together for the last 50 years, and they clearly still do. As long as they continue to tour, I'll continue to go see them. I've never left a ZZ Top show disappointed.
You forgot to say they are genuine..down to earth and modest...people with kind souls!!
Billy remains one of the most underrated blues guitarists in this country. His moves are so fluid -- its all one motion.
His use of the thumb on the Sharp Dressed Man riff is not easy to play. Without using the thumb, it is impossible to make it sound right.
The late great Jimi Hendrix once called him the greatest guitar player in the world.
3 men, 2 guitars and a drum set. Legends. Rest in peace Dusty.
and the same 3 chords 😎👌
Ok uknow.itelluimnotlike this .
Truly a understatement!!!! Those 3 are what God himself listens to everyday!!! RIP Dusty::
Truth.
Yep 😊
The memories this song brings back really hits me. This song was my dad's and my favorite song. Whenever him and I would go anywhere together, especially to our cabin, my dad would blast this song every time. I was 14 at the time, dad was 39. I'm 50 now and both parents passed on now. Mom, bless her kind soul, passed away 13 years ago now, and my dad, may he rest in peace finally, passed away 11 months ago.. suicide took my mom, and dementia took dad after 10 years of fighting. God bless you all! Thanks for taking a moment to read the rambling of an old man !
Prayers to you brother🙏🏻
This is a good honest performance, no autotune or other trickery. It serves reality and doesn't raise the false bar like much mainstream music.
I love ZZ Top, the real deal.
Man, I don't care who you are, nobody's ever been cooler than ZZ Top. RIP Dusty Hill!
Frank Beard is such a coooool drummer. He just gets on with the business. He plays exactly what's needed, no more and no less.
We saw ZZ Top last night in San Jose. They all gave a good performance but I think Frank was really working the hardest of the 3.
Great train of drums
Keith Whitehorn which is ironic because that’s one of the nicest biggest kits I’ve ever heard lol
I seriously dont think he can play with anybody else😂
What else is he suppose to do?
For me personally the ultimate live version of the ultimate ZZ Top song. It couldn't be cooler, the parallel steps at the beginning alone are enough to give me goose bumps. Dusty is sorely missed.
Only 1 guitar, 1 bass, 1 drum set, 2 voices and they're still rocking the house. That's pretty badass
Edit: Rest in peace Dusty... Hopefully he's rockin' in Heaven now!
MidnightModder and they are LOUD live.
3 people is all you need when you're good.
Little ole band from Texas say no more
@@gonepostal9101 Saw them on the Recycler tour the warm up band was the Black Crows they were really distorted when ZZTOP came out it got twice as loud and crystal clear
@@davidsignor7931 . . You often find that. The sound man will mess up the support band so the main event will seem even better. Used to happen to me all the time!
Hard to believe ZZ Top has been together for almost 50 years and they still rock
That's why they rock!!
DV DODDS I’m going to their 50th anniversary tour show in St Augustine FL I’m soooo stoked
Yep. Same 3 guys too. I think at this point if 1 guy decided to retire, they all would.
@@genebingle1754 I saw them this past Labor Day at the Minnesota State Fair and it was awesome. Whenever they're in town, I go see them. I never leave a ZZ Top show disappointed.
@@metalmanchild1454 and that ain't no bullshit.
Easily my favourite ZZ Top song, R. I. P Dusty

С 83 года самая!!! Стивен Кинг иТемная Башня в моем сердце какпепел Класса! ❤
RIP Dusty...Thanks for the music. Much Love!
Godspeed Dusty and Thank you for more than 50 years of great music and how to be cool about it.
I saw them play at the old Cumberland county civic center Portland maine back in March 1985
Фрэнк Бирд - такой классный барабанщик. Он просто продолжает заниматься своим делом. Он играет именно то, что нужно, не больше и не меньше.МОЛОДЕЦ!!!
The most underrated guitarist ever...hes in a class amongst some of the greatest musicians of all time.
@Michel Araujo Another jewish god?
@Andrew Young Billy Gibbons
@Andrew Young No, one gitarrist, one guy for the bass
@Andrew Young Yee
@Andrew Young But if you talk about a guitarrist you usually dont talk about the bass guitarist
This is a terrible loss, especially for us old farts, that grew up listening to ZZ Top. Rest Easy Dusty Hill
And thank you for melting out faces for so long and so well. You will remain a legend forever.
I agree! It stings so much!
Hasta siempre amigo...!!! :)
Hey hey now, I ain't no old fart, I just know what damn good music sounds like, RIP DUSTY!!!!
You right about that Ed. Feels like we've lost a good friend. Take care and be safe.
The amount of the musical fruit these three squeezed out of their talents will never be matched.
Greatest bass ever. Rest in piece Dusty :(
I liked him too , but let's not get crazy.
@@brianajaxwintor6023 Lemmy! 😍
@@brianajaxwintor6023 agree jack bruce the ox
Shut up Im god
@@brianajaxwintor6023 Brian, I am god
It’s crazy that other than a bit of gravel in Billy’s voice, they sounded better than ever really. What an incredible act. These guys knew how to put on a show. I’m glad that Elwood has taken over to keep it going, but the loss of Dusty and with him the original ZZ Top lineup will forever be mourned.
Dusty's vocals gave me chills on this one. Amazing.
got to be the smoothest band in history
RagingDragon13 I agree!!
Stfu
For sure sir thank you
Xenomorph #2277 got to be...
What is great when in concert It doesn't matter how big the stage is Hill and Gibbons are a mirror image they never miss a step perfectly timed on both sides of the stage
If you never seen them in concert I am sorry. These guys put on one hell of a show.
Nothing fast but a flawless show indeed
Saw them live in Albuquerque. They do put on one hell of a show despite their age
Saw them just 3 years before dusty died thankfully! They were incredible. Opened for lynyrd Skynyrd
This was me and my grandpa's favorite band together, I remember riding on a golf kart listening to all those albums and loving it. He got us tickets to a show just a little while before Dusty died. I'm so thankful this band exists and I got to see the real deal. RIP Dusty Hill
Crazy how much 3 guys can rock! They sound like a much bigger band especially when you see them live.
Rest In Paradise🕊 DUSTY HILL ... Thank You So Much For The Great Music And Talent You Gave To Us And Left To Us!!! The Greatest Rock🎸Band from the Lone Star State: ZZ TOP!!!
Oh man I'm going to miss Dusty! I never had the pleasure watching these guys live. So many greats have gone in the last few years. He'll be up rockin out with the great ones! RIP!!
Dusty Hill will be leading the bass guitarists in Heaven's Rock and Roll Band. That makes you believe in Heaven where there will be one helluva rock and roll band.
Frank Beard is like "leave me alone and let me do my job". Brilliant performance.
2:13- best drum break in rock history.
I’ve been fortunate to see them about six times. Living in Texas and Nashville during my younger adulthood. They even picked up the Lenard Skinner concert on New Years Eve in Ft. Worth right after their plane crash. ZZ had longhorns & vultures on stage with them. I think. Might have been the purple microdot.
Not sure. Anywho, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Gibbons in Nashville. Not only is he a gentleman, he really is as smooth as molasses and cool as a cucumber. His autograph had 3 bugs and their tracks going over sand dunes with some Cacti. The caption was, “just passing through”. His name. Then he forged Frank & Billy’s name. Framed, on the wall in my bedroom, someone stole it.
Thank you Mr. Gibbons. Hang in there Frank. A fellow Irvingite. Praying for you and your health. God Bless Texas!
Y’all !! Artie Miller
Sad day. RIP Amigo.
man saw these guys many times. Gonna miss Dusty two stepping across the stage with Billy. Love these guys. RIP Dusty
Every version of this song I've heard Billy Gibbons play a different but great guitar solo. They are up there with Cream and the Jimi Hendrix Experience as an ultimate rock power trio. What a glorious noise they make
When the youngin's don't want rock, I'm pretty sure they never heard bands like ZZ Top
Glenn Rothkirch im 15 and I just saw them in concert the other day. Cheap Trick opened for them too.
Mama and Papa done raised me right.
Me too! Fucking awesome!
the younger kids dont have a clue
bruce vee Don’t worry, I’m getting my little cousin into rock music. He’s getting some fine education.
Saw them in 1987. One of the best live acts I've seen. This was the opening song.
I was at this tour! Saw them at Bell County Expo. Sick show! Security was light and all the rockers got along
Way back in the 80s I first heard this and rocked my little head off, haven't stopped since!
Great song, this song played on the radio station KOZZ 105.7 FM Reno's Classic Rock year 2003.
i’m 18 years old and i feel proud that i only listen to this type of music. talented musicians never die
You don’t have to state your age because you listen to it
Proud of you 👍 brother!!!!! Don't EVER forget that sound of amazing live classic rock!!!!!!
I love Dusty's playing style. Simple, yet affective. It's nothing too fancy but it grooves like hell.
I love the moments when Dusty sings
Good description. Dusty "knows" his voice: he sticks to singing what he will sound good singing, if that makes sense.
he`s doing all the Elvis covers and doing it real good..
The audience dug it too
I'm heartbroken for rock's loss. Another dynamite guitarist... Hurts my soul. Thanks for the years of (southern) rock, Dusty. You'll be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to the ZZ family and friends. Rock'n roll never forgets.
50 YEARS OF KICKING AMERICA'S ASS !!! I LOVE THESE GUYS!!! AND THEY ARE STILL AS SMOOTH AS EVER!
Perhaps the greatest, tightest power trio in the history of rock n roll, pure class and oh so cool....
This is pure magic. Thanks ZZ TOP!
Hands down the best 3 piece ever. ZZ Top never failed to deliver the goodies live or on vinyl. Just good ole boys out having fun doing what they love to do.
0:20 look how much the song loses just when the bass player isnt playing. This band is phanominal
Ain’t nothin like good ole southern rock….ZZ Top 2nd to none.
What a nasty groove...absolutely vicious.
There is a lot of great 3 piece TRUE ROCK-N-ROLL/BLUES BANDS. With that being said, ZZ TOP is the quintessential epitamy of that. The best, in my opinion. 🎸🇺🇸
Rest in peace, grateful to have seen ZZ Top 2019 and when I was young 😢🎶❤️
Hello how are you doing, it’s nice meeting you here
ZZ TOP!!!!! RIP Dusty…. Tohle už nikdy neuvidíme….veliká škoda….
ZZ Top really had everything. Big sound, image, unique, attitude, character, influence, style, innovation. Very, very special band.
Saw ZZ Top last night here in Sacramento at the Venue. They were friggin awesome!!! Bucket list show for me and my daughter. The band is phenomenal. 🤟😎
I could listen to Frank's drumming all day. Those fills tho.
He's a fine example of an effortless drummer and as smooth as 20 year old Pappy Van Winkle.
Like Charlie Watts, Frank plays just what's necessary.
40 years ago I sat in my parents living room as a little kid as my dad played it out loud for us, as he did tons of his music, I remember it so well as I bobbed my head back and forth hard to this, 40 years later I sit here watching my kids do the same, along with me still of course!!!
My all time favorite ZZ TOP SONG!!!!!
I saw them when they came to Canada, and holy shit we're they fucking good, one of the best shows I have ever seen. Grandma and Grandpa were dancing up in front just giving it everything, was so awesome to see.
this has been their opener since eliminator came out: 35 years. rock on billy Dusty and frank!
There isn't another BAND, that had the SOUL and SWAG, ZZ TOP had.. Dusty, Rest In Peace SIr. You did DAMN good!!!
Those three amigos were just cool. As. Fuck.
That L’il ole band from Texas. Completely amazing!!
From beginning right through century’s
ZZ Top are extremely original, the sound is widely huge and powerfully rich, like the Royal Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Saint Trinity ZZ Top. (hopefully one day will listening you with the great symphony orchestra)
Each note is always in the right place and sometimes beautifully shifted in time, showing that you really are human beings. Music is making me feel great over & over again.
Actually ZZ Top never stops making America great again and again.
Certainly for sure this is the best rock band on this planet & thank you very much for being with us on Earth at this particularly special time.
I love you
P.S.
People from different planets and faraway galaxies are excitingly happy to come to planet Earth especially for your amazingly brilliant live performance on around the world
seen them on 2005 ft Myers, best show ever. true 3 man band and bad ads as ever. 3 true musicians/rockstars

Best of the Best! I saw them live in Cologne 2003 !!!
Thank you ZZ Top for bringing me out of the depths of sadness. After my son died, I took my younger son to see you and John Fogerty. You lifted our spirits! Thank you so much for the fun and joy you brought us that night. I've been listening to you every day since.
I can get where you r coming from. When our 24 year old son died I took my wife to see Albert Lee live.He played his fav song on stage ( sweet little Lisa ) .you don't forget stuff like that

Hello how are you doing, it’s nice meeting you here
Thank you for the music Dusty!
The coolest band ever seen them in concert a bunch
a band made up of five elements: a great great drummer, a great blues rock guitarist, a good bass player, plus an amazing hoarse singer, and a backing vocalist
THE definition of rock and roll!
So glad I had the chance to see these guys 2 years ago. Rip to one of the greatest bass players ever.
Hands down my favorite zz top tune. Loved it now for almost 40 years.
How almost 40 years when you are around 30? lol
How cool are they!!! After all these decades together they still kick some ass live!! National treasure from Texas!!!
Seen them last night in Detroit!!! Great show!!
Billy jak zawsze w świetnej formie.

This is my favourite ZZ Top song. Those bass guitar notes have certainly some divine touch. Dream to watch these guys live someday!
You better hurry-up, they're closing in on 70 years each. Go see them A.S.A.P. A national treasure.
