Hi, great model and additional work, just to let everyone know that the motorised roof fan units are available on the Bachmann spares site along with the class 47 motorised roof fan units as well, they gone up in price since I purchased one they are now £50, I believe the delivery is free for orders of £50 and over.
Thats fine too, not everybody is bothered for having the latest models. Having used the newer models I wouldn't be satisfied with the older Triang stuff, but its still an important part of model railway history which got us to where we are.
well done Richard now how about improving bachmann class 90 with sound I just got one but sound is poor and too quiet even after trying to adjust sound level with function 23 this has 6 settings but only turns sound down from as supplied level and last is it possible to adjust cab lights to go out when loco starts to move I am sure other people must be having the same problems kind regards ralph
one problem ive had is the headlights going dim while the horn plays. this happens at both speed and static. do you know of any fixes to stop that happening? is a factory fitted zimo decoder. thank you.
Thank you for this video, Richard. Really clear. I have this model and would like to add a stay-alive (I've got this on my Accurascale 37s but otherwise the two models are pretty comparable, in my view). Can you post a link to a suitable item on your website? Thanks!
Excellent instructive video again Richard. I still don't think that Bachmann have got the sound quite right on this model. My 37s have Legoman V4 chips and double iPhone speakers and I think the sound is better. Which speaker do you think sounds best in these new Bachmann 37 sound models?.
Hi I have a bachmann class 37/0 dcc sound any idea why it makes a buzzing sounds when running without the sound on cannot figure it out any help would be appreciated many thanks Andy
I have just watched your video l have a Backmann 3car DMU sound fitted same speakers same decoder as you demonstrated with I am unable to get any sound out of this three-car DMU the default setting is 226 and the sound is 190 the only thing that works on this logo is direction indicators I have had this from new in 2022 have you a email that I can contact you hopefully you can help me regards Stuart
Are you really encouraging people to nullify the warranty on poorly designed or assembled product or have Bachmann approved these repairs to be carried out by the purchaser? Bob

Hi Richard .very informative video and enjoyable to watch .thanks for the tips ..Happy modeling .☝️😀😀
Beautiful model from Bachmann - not happy about the fragile plugs on either end - not acceptable for a £190+ model
Excellent informative video which I enjoyed watching 👍😁😁🚂
@andrewmeah3082, I also have a buzzing from my class 37sfx model. Mine sounds like the motor out of balance. Had to send back to supplier.

Superb very useful indeed
How do you re solder the light plugs which you pulled off the front of the new Bachmann 37

Any ideas if you can upgrade the non fan version to a fan version? The price difference was too much for me to justify tinted windows and a tiny motor
Not that I know of unless Bachmann make the fan available as a spare

Lovely sound. Does the speaker need upgrading, or is the factory fitted OK?
There’s nothing better that fits easily, the shape of the space is quite awkward so it’s probably best to stick with what’s in there
