You guessed it. This car has a back story. Originally built by Sandy Harbutt in the 70's/80's. Sandy is best known (IMO) for the 1974 film Stone. If you are unfamiliar with this iconic piece of Australian cinema; I suggest you look it up because it's a cult classic.

My friends Grandma had 1, she lived in Port Melbourne. One day it had been flipped on its side by pranksters because it was so light they could lift it. I wish that car was still around today. Always thought it was a bit of a joke, but now I love them even more

I HAD THE SAME MODEL SAME COLOR WITH EN1 BOTTOM END EB3 HEAD EN ELECTRONIC DIZZY TWIN 35 MM SIDE DRAFT DELLORTO CARBYS CITY TURBO 5 SPEED AND BLEW AWAY EVERYTHING ON THE STREET MR2 TURBOS,5L COMMODORES HAD NO CHANCE THE SOUND OF THE CARBYS WAS SO LOUD DAM I MISS THAT CAR..I FOUND ONE SITTING IT HAS RS1200 BADGES ON THE GUARDS I MIGHT HAVE TO GO AND TWIST THE GUYS ARM FOR IT...

I had a carby turbo 76 civic using the Rayjay kit and nitrous, as well as a bunch of city turbo powered ones.

He's referring to the Kanjo (Loop) racers from Osaka.
No Good Racing and Temple Racing being the most well known today , but other shops like Five Mart (Osaka JDM) Mecha Dock and Zero Fighter were racing the Loop in the late 80's and still have shops in Osaka to this day

I remember in the crown video you talking about intercoolers with draw through setups but I've heard elsewhere that fuel will pool inside the intercooler and become a potential bomb. Think that's why people always use water meth injection.

That’s a 1200 not a 1500 unless you rebored the cylinders to be a 1500. If it was a 1500 it would’ve been the cvcc and would’ve said it on the valve cover
