WHERE IS THE CABIN AIR FILTER ON YOUR NISSAN ARMADA?
The cabin air filter is located underneath the dash. The cabin filter door will have to be removed in order to access the cabin air filter.
WHAT IS THE CABIN AIR FILTER ON YOUR NISSAN ARMADA?
Cabin air filters, also know as A/C air filter, help enhance the air quality inside your vehicle creating a healthier, more comfortable environment for you and your passengers. A properly functioning cabin air filter, or ac air filter, can stop up to 90% of dust, pollen, and spore particles from entering the Nissan Armada passenger compartment location.
WHEN SHOULD YOU CHANGE THE CABIN AIR FILTER ON YOUR NISSAN ARMADA?
It is recommended that you replace your cabin air filter every 10,000 - 15,000 miles or once a year. However, you may want to replace or change the cabin filter in you Armada more often if:
-You or a frequent passenger suffers from allergies or has other respiratory problems
-You drive your Armada on dirt roads or in an excessively dusty location

Honestly, why on earth does Nissan make these so hard to access? My Tundra is accessed right in the glovebox, through a little door, which appears they could do and you wouldn't have to remove the entire thing. Thank you for this video, there's no way I would have figured this out without it!

Thanks for the detailed video. I thought I could switch it quickly last night as surely Nissan designed it similar to other manufacturers. Unfortunately, they didn't and the owner's manual was no help.

What is a t20 screw? Does this require a special screwdriver?
Yes it requires a #20 Torx Bit (T20)
Be careful to check your Armada ahead of time with respect to those screw clips, my 2020 also requires taking off part of the dashboard before you can reattach one of those. There’s no access from the bottom of the screw location as shown in the video (no way to slide the clip back up over the hole), as there is another cover over the whole area (other than the holes themselves). Unfortunately, the design doesn’t prevent the clips coming off (just as happened for person recording the video), it just makes it so they can fall down inside the dash cover, or if one manages to fall outside (I had one of each), then you can’t get it back on without that whole additional disassembly. Without the clips, the screws don’t engage and attach.
