2nd question. 8% of total students are increasing in the dept of engineering, equally reducing strength in education and performing arts depts. So the reduction in both depts will be 4% of the total strength (12000). ie, 30-4=26. 26%of 12000 =3120 is the new strength of edu dept!!!

We already found out that 26% of 12000 is 3120 in the first question. So it saved time little more
