This one hit home, because I have a 1978 Sears jiffy skillet (electric). That actually still works! I even have the original owners manual. My grandfather ordered it back it in the day. Love the content lloyd!
I really enjoyed this time you spent guiding us through the Sears magazine Lloyd. I think what surprises me the most, is the realization that many of the items and things I use/interact with throughout my day, they are identical to what was listed here.

13:25 looks like a cassette-to-8-track adapter next to the 8-track player. You could put a cassette tape in and play it thru an 8-track player.

I had that $200 all component stereo and it was awesome!
Lloyd is my go to ASMR. There's nobody else out there that does what he does and what he does, constant whispering, with his unique pacing, is exactly what I'm looking for. Something I've noticed though is background hum/hiss in some videos such as this one. It's most likely not a problem for most but I can't take it for long. I am far from a sound engineer but I know the videos can be done without the background noise. The wonderful 1941 Life Magazine vid from last month is proof. Here's hoping we, well, I, get more of those. Love to all.

Yes, it was. Though, the TV set would have been made in Japan or the US. South Korean and Taiwanese TV sets weren't common in the US and China was just beginning to open up to foreign commerce, so no Made-in-China TV sets just yet.
