I have literally re-watched this comparison at least 3 times. I have tried to love the mm in mono but looked tiny on me even though I'm only 5'4"---you're so right, get the one that speaks to you! I pulled the trigger on a beige interior mono in GM. I am happy with my decision. You're my favorite person on UA-cam! thanks for all your time and insight. I needed to hear everything you said! :)

Great comparison video. I just recently purchased the GM and agree completely that it's a whole different bag from the MM and i love the way it looks cinched as well. Took me a while to finally get it because I was planning to use for travel only but now I'm using more and more and it's such a great purchase. Thanks for sharing! :)

You’ve convinced me! Just went to store the store excited about picking up the MM. I asked my SA to see a GM just for the comparison And fell in love ! I’m just under 5’7 and it’s perfect! I moved my belongings from my Speedy 30 and couldn’t imagine a smaller tote..got mine is the Mono! Only thing that sucks is it’s raining and I will most likely switch back to Speedy or Longchamp today and not be able to really use until the weekend 😉 thanks for such a helpful video... 💋

This video is what helped me decide which neverfull to get! I went with the MM in DE and I LOVE IT! I will probably eventually get the GM in monogram to use for travel but the MM is my perfect purse that doubles as a work bag! Thank you! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
First let me thank you for saving me a truckload of money and buyer's remorse by buying the wrong LV Bag. After a number of years it was time for me to purchase what would be my 5th LV handbag. I love all my other LV's but as a rule I always find they are too small for everyday use after I have had them a few months. This time I did serious research and your videos (this one in particular) helped me so much. I ended up with the GM Neverfull in Damier Ebene Canvas and it's perfect and I know it will not be too small. But in the store the SA kept trying to talk me into the MM. I started with the GM in Monogram and in the mirror it did look gigantic on me. So I let him talk me into the MM... which did look much better. I said if I'm going MM, I'd like the Damier canvas and for whatever reason that print in the same MM looked so small on me in the mirror. I switched to the GM in Damier and it seemed to visibly shrink on my frame. Perfect fit. I did mention the cracking and he said it was the coating that had cracked for some customers, but he had not had any complaints and they sell a zillion of those bags. So again... thank you so much for this video. It played a gigantic part in my purchase.

I was worried the gm was too big and the mm just seems too small but after watching your video I feel a lot Better about the gm. Definitely will be purchasing the gm in Damier ebene.

I loved this video since we are the same size, I sometimes FEEL like the mm is waayyyyyy too small I really want a size inbetween MM and GM. But now currently I will want a GM ❤️

Young lady, you have sold me! I have the MM in DE. Being five ft. tall, I thought the GM looked too big for me. But you’ve shown me that it’s all in the shaping. I’ll worry about the darkening handles later, lol. Thank you. Ohh, I’d love to see an updated video showing how the mono handles look now.
LOVE this video! I've seen tons of comparison videos. I myself am trying to decide which size to get. And it's been so hard finding a good quality video with someone who is the same height as myself! Thank you so much for this! I was torn on the GM vs the MM as well, because I was worried that the GM was too big. I'm 5'3" and loved that I could see it on someone "tiny", lol! I like how you show how to cinch the GM to make it look smaller, but I love the idea that I can make it bigger for those days where I'm carrying a million things. I have several Coach Reversible City Totes which are about the MM size and I often run into the problem of running out of room. Thanks again for the comparison! It was super helpful!

The GM is so much more sophisticated looking than the MM. Everyone has the MM, it's just very common.

I watched tho video so many times. Everyone told me to get the MM bc it’s good for everyday. The MM is very similar in size to the Longchamp large tote and I always find that it’s too small for travel to carry a sweater/jacket, a water bottle, wallet and small pouches. Today I finally pulled the trigger on the GM in DA. I feel like all the extra space will make a world of a difference! Thank you for making this video!

I think I watched this video at least ten times! I set my heart on the GM size and two days ago I got it as an early Christmas/late birthday gift! I'm so happy with my Monogram GM.😁
Good advice on carrying an umbrella. It rained a lot the first day I used mine and I didn't get a single drop on it. And then it got water spots at home. Long story. 🙄 Hopefully as the patina sets in it will be less noticeable. My speedy's handles are darker than I am and I love it! So it's all good.

I'm so glad I came across this review! I just bought the GM the other night. My husband convinced me to just go for it after a couple glasses of wine...so I did, chose the Heritage Personalized (just monogram, no stripes) version. Meaning...no returning. I THEN read reviews on the GM vs. MM, and many of them said the GM was just not practical. I woke up completely panicked the next day wondering if I made a huge mistake. BUT NOW I love the size of it as you demonstrated, and when I'm not traveling for work or using it as a pseudo diaper bag for my toddlers I'm so happy I can cinch it and pull off the day to day look. THANK YOU for putting this out there!!!

Another great review! I kind of went through the same thought process when I got my gm. I knew I was going to wear mostly cinched in and was scared of the cracking so I went with the mono. I want to get an MM in damier as well. I have it in epi and although I like it, it's kind of stuff. Congrats on your 1 month UA-cam anniversary!

Dude, I wish I had seen this before I got my MM. I just received it, unboxed it. I haven’t even put my things inside. Now wasn’t the time to be watching reviews huh? I am sure I will love it. I have been carrying a large Rebecca Minkoff satchel that is so heavy. (I love it) and switching between a large Donney. I think I am really going to enjoy how lightweight the canvas is as apposed to the extremely heavy the all leather bags I have been carrying. Either bag filled with my “stuff” weighs 10+ pounds, that is ridiculous. I had a couple of small LV mono pieces and they were lost. Starting my collection all over again. I really would love a small coin purse and I would love an agenda. I think I am happy with my choice because I feel like my next big LV purchase will be a duffle. I have ALWAYS wanted an LV duffle. Good video and you are such a beautiful person. Just a lovely young woman.

I'm planning to get one to use as a baby/diaper bag and my husband kept telling me that the GM is way too big, but I was afraid that the MM was going to be too small specially since I have 2 other boys and someone is always asking me to put something away for them including hubby. So the GM will definitely be my mom carry all bag. Specially since we travel a lot. I'm 5'7 so this really helps a lot. Also my friend keeps telling me not to get the mono because the straps are going to get dark really easily but since you mentioned that I will probably get less creasing when cinching it, I will go for the mono then since I really love it in the GM. =)

I have been so torn about the Neverfull. I have wanted the GM so bad!! I am actually 5'5, athletic build but I was afraid others would think it is too big on me...not that it should matter but I was pretty offended at the Louis Vuitton store earlier last week when I overheard one of the SA's say that my Speedy 35 was too big for me. I know it doesn't matter what others think because I love my Speedy 35's but it definitely made me feel bad. Thanks for your video, it really helped me decide to go ahead with the GM because I really do love the size and versatility of it!! Your videos are awesome!!

Omg I just saw this is from 2015!!!! Lordy, I'm behind. Lol. Well, I just got a pm damier Ebene and I thought I'd ordered an mm. I was so disappointed at first and after I day I am in love with it!! I came across your video and felt I needed to comment. I totally agree with your opinion. I owned both the MM and GM size and ended up selling the MM size because I enjoyed the versatility of the GM size and found I used it more than the MM size. Thank you for confirming my decision.
I totally agree with you about the flexibility and preferred canvas choice for the GM. Although I only own an MM, if I were to get a GM I'd get it in the mono or azur for the very reason you mentioned.
