From 1:14 to 2:14, MB could have been holding a raccoon and nobody would have noticed. I'm still gonna have you make me a quad 8 box for the truck though.
Agreed, distractions....lol I had to rewind like 3x"s to comprehend. MB sure knows how to get the analytics up. Thanks, MB. We like distractions... sometimes.
I like watching your videos they are very informational. I have s question. Is it better to run 6.5's or 8s under a seat or 10z or 12s shallow mounts ? Thank you in advance for your Knowledge
You said “If the increase the motor size it’s far stronger then what the average competitor is using” so does that mean the new sundown z8 and ns8 is better or louder then other woofers you have reviewed because those 8’s are the biggest ones I’ve seen thus far on any subwoofer that size lol
what you think about those boxes people making now to ware they pull the hole back seat out of the truck then build the hole seat out of wood and get reupholstered to look like a normal seat and its a box for 4 12s i wonder how they do the seat belt for that if they dont do 2 separate seat boxes
I wanted to do 4-2508 so bad in my 20 ram 1500 but think I jus can't make 4 of those work. But I for sure know 4-1506 SC subs will work under my seat and bring enough pressure for me especially when I get those 4 1506s in that MBE enclouser💯🔊💨💨💨💨
@@johnnypiper1717 Curious to know which can handle more power in a real test. Strictly going by RMS Gately says 900, DD says 800. I imagine both subs can take equal amount of overpowering which keeps them 100 RMS apart. I found the Gately specs, the basket is 5.91" diameter which appears to be right in line with the outside of the surround. Can't tell on the DD, but it's mounting dia is 6 5/16". Barely any difference between the two, the extra 100 rms easily makes up for that and then some. Need some real world testing for sure.
@@marcuslinton310 you definitely right about that. I can't seem to find any videos or demo test on the gatley 6.5s. I was really wanting to do 4 2508s in my truck but can only get 2.9cu before displacement so that would only be around .5cu per sub which those 8s call for .75cu minimum that's why I was considering 4 or even maybe 6-6.5s in my 5th gen ram 1500
@@johnnypiper1717 Gately relentless 8 v2 calls for min. 0.5cf, there ya go, tad expensive though $499. The 8 v1 says 0.55 $399. 0.5cf each would still be fine. Alpha 8 v2 still 850rms, 0.5cf at $259.... sounds like that's a great choice right there.
I'm trying to do 4 6-1/2" subs in my 2007 f150 crew cab. Unfortunately this truck is VERY limited space under the seat. Do you think it's possible? Sealed or ported.
if this keeps up the subwoofers going to match the Tweeters in size we gonna have 8 three inch subs in the back on a Rockford T2500

Took me a lil while to catch on😂

Good info my brother
Can't figure out what box to build for my 08 double cab tundra without upfire or down fire.Any ideas to still get low?
Gately Audio Relentless 6.5" V2 Subwoofer would likely out perform that DD 1506.

Great info as always, where would you put the CT mesos? Intermediate?

Check out the Gately Audio Relentless 6.5" V2 Subwoofer 900rms $379. It will likely out perform that DD 1506.
@Marcus Linton it would definitely be close for sure but I think the cutout is bigger on the 1506

I want to be the first to say it, what would happen if someone used an electro-magnet for a modem.
Why don't you cater to the 4th gen Ram under seat box? We Ram guys want to sound good also you know.
Man he build & ship.
What do recommend for behind the 3rd row seat of a tahoe I think 4 8-inch would be nice
What do you think of the ct sounds meso 6.5? I was thinking about going with 6 in a gatley enclosure in a 23 f250

4 of those boys going to bring some serious bump!!!💯👍
I have a question would you need a seat lift to run 4 1506s in a ford
Would a single 1506 have deep bass?
Anyone know about how much a birch enclosure for 2 L7S kicker 12s from MBE cost?? Give or take..
@2:00 speaking about "booty" ;)
Area 41 still open........
👍✌️
You’re selling me in Mmats
Nope..
