About to loose all my beloved animals, and my house, I'll be homeless soon. Last thing I'll take with me is electricity. But I love your channel, learned so much about year round survival. Thank you for that. Sad I won't be able to watch your channel then.
I was in that position last year. I spent the last bit of cash I had on a rental car, and gas. I drove for several ride share/delivery companies, and lived out of the rental for several months while I searched for solid employment. As soon as I'd saved up enough cash to purchase a cheap clunker with cash, I did that, and lived out of it for several months. It took time, a lot of cold sleepless nights, and a little bit of hunger pains, but now I have a wife, a newborn daughter, and life has stabilized. I will say... I employed a LOT of what's taught here, and other channels about wilderness and urban survival. I always keep my g ear on me.
I’ve also seen James Bender from Waypoint Survival promo this….. I have 3 possible Solar generators on my short list…. And the Anker is definitely one of them
Two questions: 1) will you hire yourself out as my Sherpa? 2) does it come with and can I also run an automatic dishwasher on this beast? (very important to also hear your response to Q 1. --- I laughed several times during this video in spite of my understanding the appeal to certain groups. I just hope I can position my camping spots on the other side of the mountain range from them! Honestly though, this would make a great emergency power outage device or long-term, permanent, campsite / hunter's cabin! Love the contagious enthusiasm!
Hey Dan? If you see this, I want you to take note of something. This is by far your least-viewed video in a LONG time. Take that as a sign. This is not what we come to you for. We want less tech, not more. Please, maintain your integrity as a bushcraft channel and focus on the great outdoors learning that we all enjoy so much.
I may be wrong but I think these devices will detract from the camping experience. That said, I take my solar power pack with me for my phone, lighter and head lamp.
I am deeply disappointed. We learned in those good old days how to start a fire with the spark plug of a motorcycle (or if in the forest, with the one of a motor saw) or by using a flashlight mirror to ignite a cigarette with sunlight. And using magnifier lenses and other stuff. All crazy ways of how to ignite a fire. I am always eager to learn further methods. And it seems, so far nobody showed how to ignite a fire with a microwave. Everybody comes nowadays only with the always same boring stuff of using a firesteel or a bowdrill. Now in the first seconds I thought and really hoped we would finally learn how to create a fire in a bushcraft microwave. Maybe even setting a full hobo in flames in that thing. Anything exciting. But my bad, I was wrong. So sad.

I was laughing out loud when I saw the microwave. Love all of your content!
Microwaves in the woods are why I wear a tinfoil hat my friend ! ! !
Dan, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the 58 minute charge time is only when charging from AC 120 volts. Car chargers only put out 12 volts.

One could use this when camping at Christmas time to light up a tree and power a model train.
"hey dan, thought we told ya mike ain't welcome round these parts.."
Just what I would expect you to be using if/when you go camping.
I use a smaller 256W Anker for my cpap
Nice set up for base camp with some panels charging it up all day.

When I was building my camping trailer over the winter, I had to laugh when I realized I could use my induction cooker in camp.
Bad ass brother HellToTheYeah
I’m an Anker fanboy but folks should keep in mind that this is $1000 bucks for 1800 watts hrs.
Dang, I don't even have a microwave in my house.

About $649
"They" can stay home and leave the people who want to go to the woods alone.
you are soooo funny!!!
Dan the salesman. Come on
If I see a microwave in the woods, it might get killed. I don't allow the things in my house; they do horrible things to food.
I usually go camp so i can get closer to nature and leave all man pollutants behind. At least take a break from all modern stuff.

Haha.
OMG! Hilarious.
There call man buns, but us long haired country boys don't call them that, I'm just saying
