Always loved Knott's. Great Memories. Always seemingly a more family friendly place for all generations. I Always remember "Boysenberry" Icees., Bite size Biscuits with Boysenberry jam at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant. etc etc etc
I can confirm that Rufus is alive at a friend's house. I cannot disclose his name because he asked not to. Rufus was hit by a car a few months back and a friend of mine who's also a season pass holder saw it. Took him to the vet and now has him living with his hens and is living a great life! #RufusIsAlive!
I hope your right I've asked several cast members since that day n all have said he is no longer here 😢 I also visit weekly as a season passholder. Soo prayers your right.
I absolutely love Knott’s! I remember going there when I was a little girl and now I’m 64. I collect Knott’s memorabilia, too! ❤. Thank you for letting me see what’s going on there today as I haven’t been there in quite a long time. Way too long.
It was a wonderful time as a child. I totally agree with you. I have some amazing photos and collection of my grandparents at the park in the 50's very special times, I am sad to see so much of it changed.
So many memories there. My Dad use to take us every summer. Great video! Looks like you both had a blast! We also got the fried chicken with biscuits and knots famous jam. My favorite 😍 Thank you for sharing this !!
Knotts Berry Farm is one of the very few things I miss about California....especially the train ride and the restaurants. Never got to ride the stagecoach.
Planned a trip with my brother in !980 from Montreal, Canada to Knott's Berry Farm to ride 'Montezuma's Revenge' ... the ride was "Closed Due To Re-Painting!" !!! Still my all time favorite Theme Park! Only been there twice Now I'm 71... Thanks for sharing!
Great vid. That mine train ride is incredible :) Still wonderful to see that Knotts kept the 'stagecoach' alive after disney dumped theirs long ago. Horses and coasters'...great tag line.
That stagecoach ride is pretty cool. Anytime there are horses involved, I love it. One day whenever I make it out to Cali I will have to visit that park. I love the vibe there.
Woo Woo Woo!! Hello Daily Woo!!!! That was a great video full of all kinds of attractions that I enjoy, instead of all coasters!! Loved the Calico Mine Ride Dark Ride, the Founder's Day Celebration at Calico Junction, the Train Ride, the Stagecoach Ride, n of course, ol' Sad Eye Joe!!! Attaboy, Adam the Woo.!!!
I have been going there since I was a baby. I remember the lake and the jungle land place with animals made from wood. Riding the boat in the lake. Spent a lot of fun days there.
When I used to go to Knott's Berry Farm the only rides they had was the log ride and a train ride through the mountain and the big train that just went through the park. As well as the stagecoach. But there was no roller coasters or anything like that. It was just the Old West Town which was good enough for me.
So cool to see Knotts Berry Farm again. Thank you for doing this vlog. I grew up in So. Cal. The last time I went to Knotts was 44 years ago on my 18th birthday. ❤😊👍👍
Hello Adam, Thanks for bringing us along on your adventure in Knotts Berry! So many great things to see and do. Dave and I look forward to visiting there when we move to Anaheim soon. Have a wonderful, magical weekend! ❤Bizebeegranny Jeanne and Dave Rose from Wickenburg Arizona ❤️ ⚘️ ❤
In the mid to late 1970s, my dad sold tapestries, turquoise and used albums at the Orange Drive-In Swap Meet on Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, if he did really well, we would pack up by 12:30pm and go to Disneyland. If he did okay, we would pack up at 3:30pm and head to Knott's Lagoon. We would ride the burros, which went underneath where the tunnel where the cars now go and go on the paddle boats or rowboats in the lagoon. They also had a carousel. When Camp Snoopy opened in 1983, it was the end of Knott's Lagoon. Rides from KL that were moved to Camp Snoopy included the Cordelia K, which looked a lot like the Mark Twain at Walt's Magic Kingdom, but a third the size. So too the Grand Sierra Railroad, which traveled around the lagoon. Sadly, the Cordelia K was removed from the main park twenty years ago to make way of the beams of the Silver Bullet. I wonder if anyone has home movie footage of Knott's Lagoon?
Reminds me to go pick up some pancake syrup. Yes, I know it's made by someone else now but it's the closest thing they got to Boysenberry around . That and a pie should complete my visit. I go way back with my involvement with Knotts Berry Farm. The ghost town part use to be free, gave us something to do while waiting for that chicken dinner. Then 20 years later I got involved with food processing and Knotts supplier of chicken was one of my customers. I don't know if they still give you the option for extra moist chicken, but I was involved in providing the process to do that.
I love the attention to detail there. In the house with the hanged man in the coffin, when he turns in to a skeleton the flowers die, the wallpaper get old and tattered, and something happens to the picture but I couldn't quite make it out. You can tell this place is built from passion and heart. I hope one day I'll be able to visit the West Coast and go there.
Very nice vid, I really enjoyed watching it! I had the real privilege of working there in 1986 and 1987. Although Walter and Cordelia had passed away by then, their children/relatives still ran the park and were totally Hands-On. Used to see them walking around all the time as they were checking on things. We were all treated like gold and it was such a great place to work!
It’s funny because I’m from SoCal and I mentioned to someone from Florida when they came to Disneyland to go to Knott’s and they were like what’s Knott’s I was not aware that a lot of people don’t even know about Knott’s Berry Farm from other States thanks for showing everyone this great park 😍 I try do a lot of shorts on my UA-cam to show the park
OMG such a good video! I hate you never got to experience the Soap Box Racers, that was one of my favorite childhood memories, it really is heartbreaking to see so many of the original rides go away, but I guess that's part of life. So happy to see you and your friend have a good time.
I use to go to Knotts a a child...My father is to take me panning for gold.....I also loved the chicken restaurant...Last ten I was at Knotts was the late 70's.... .Long time ago and so many memories.
I love the Ghost Town and the same 4 rides that you enjoy most. My first trip was in 1975 long before all of the rollercoasters took over the park. I wish they still had the can-can show in the Calico Saloon. Ty for taking me along 😊
I was there yesterday for a couple hours. On my way home from Disneyland. I wish I would’ve bumped into you Adam I’m glad you had a nice day. I love Knott’s.
We bought season passes last year that was good through the rest of 2022 and expires at the end of this year. We went in December last year for the first time and had a blast! We live in Utah so we can't go back until this December but we are freaking excited. Your video brought back memories 😁😢

Just Subscribed! I love this Knotts Video. I live in WashingtonState and have been there many times but did not know about the haunted house rocking chair and self stirring pot. Or the baby Rattlers among other things. Thanks for not just going on rides. I love to ride the Stagecoach. Too bad about the log ride. Great Video! Are you back living in the West Coast again?
I just watched a video from 7 years ago so good then 12 you just gave up your apartment to travel in your van 😂 You have a matured and perfected this ❣️
That definitely wasn't the same Sad Eye Joe...or else maybe he is ultra sad eye! Thanks for the video, we love Knott's! Haven't been able to go since 2019 though. Yes a pass is a great value there. My brother's family got a pass each plus one for our mom and parking included (six total) for less than the cost of one Annual Pass at Disneyland, if you can eve get one!
I don't know if I'd go to Disneyland but, Knotts Berryfarms looks like fun and, would like to go there sometime. Disney doesn't have the same charm as Knotts does. I'm glad you went to see Sad Eye, he does look sad 😔. I wonder how long he's going to be in jail for.
