The way the fender flare rolls into the body is pure art. What I love about the work you do is not just make it pretty. You build a track car that is flawless but can easily be used to grab some groceries.
Detroit Speed is one of the, if not THE BEST shops in the world. Kyle and Stacy Tucker seem to be 2 of the nicest, kindest folks in this "hobby". I would love to give them my 69 GTO and have them do a build like this! But that's a dream I'm sure many of us have. I just need to win the lottery😁
Oh man , Bob is one of the most Blessed men that I now know of . I would daily that car , it would be so awesome leaving from work and I’d never be sick going too work !!! Like EVER !! Hahahahah man you guys are awesome!!!! Thanks for showing dreams can come true !
Man what a stunning car, puts my 1970 to shame. Love that blue, painting my car that exact color. I see a ton of money was put towards this build. Great job!
@@detroitspeed what color is that again, I think you said it is from a 2008 Corvette. Will be painting my car probably next year. The original color is bridgehampton blue. I like the paint on your car better. Thank you!
Probably one of the best built C3 that I have laid eyes on! Very well detailed !! Great job Detroit Speed...I knew there was great potential in these C3's.. Mine is bone stock at the present... I have just started my build with your LS Engine mounts !
You guys did a BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL JOB. I'm the second owner of 1969 L-71 which I've had for 50 years. It's my daily driver and I keep it in very nice condition but this car is simply AWESOME. It's so tastefully done. I wouldn't change a thing. It truly is the Greatest C3 Build Ever.
Incredible. You've taken an ageless beautiful design and replaced all the antiquated mechanical bits with brand new race standard equipment. I mean, the car looks brand new! Guys after my own heart!
This is a perfect example of a C3 restomod. I would love to do this exact same spec on a 72. I had one in the early 90's and wound up putting a 500hp SBC with a huge cam and it definitely wreaked havoc with my headlights and wipers, sometimes the headlights would pop up and down on their own. Would be amazing to have one where everything works like it should.
love the car, looks like a live-sized hot wheel. love that blue and engine bay, cool you got the files to make the vents work. love all the details on the undercarriage for suspension upgrades
Could you guys put a few lights under corners ofcar so the width of these huge tires can be seen!! Of all important car design visuals ,wide steamroller tires are THE most important single thing for an agressively wicked looking ride like this amazing vette.
Just great and for all people restomoding Corvettes with a new powerful engine..,a manual trans is the only way to go to enjoy the V8 's driving pleasure...
This is amazing. The only thing I don't like is the chrome. Personally, I would do a chrome delete. But I understand that the chrome gives it the vintage look. How much would a build like this cost???
Great looking build. Do you have any info on the electric e-brake and traction control systems mentioned in the video. I'm interested in that for my 77'
Detroit Speed, Inc. Thanks for the quick response. I have a 77’ corvette restomod I’m currently building. It has an LS3. I want to install a Heads Up Display. Any recommendations?
@@timkirschbaum391 I'm sure you could integrate one of the units from a C6 corvette some way if you were to utilize a base C6 computer and harness since they were LS3 equipped from the factory. It'd take some thinking and ingenuity.
So. 😂 Another amazing Detroit Speed project. I’m building a similar (Although nowhere near as nice) L88 style ‘73 canyon carver and will be using a lot of their stuff on it. It’s pricey but top quality.
I wanted to stand up and applaud after watching this. Greatest C3 build ever.
We appreciate that!
@@detroitspeed how much was this build
i want this exact vehicle. My life would be complete
That paint and paint color! Perfection!!
I LOVE absolutely EVERYTHING about this car!!! Awesome job fellaz!
Thank you Chad!
This is the Nicest C3 build that I have ever seen.
Amazing build and I love the practicality of it.
Thank you!
That is certified 100% bad ass! What an amazing build!
Thank you Caleb!
Wunderschöne Corvette!! Schön anzusehen. Tolle Arbeit. Grüße aus Lübeck, Deutschland 🇩🇪, Torsten

Wow. All I can say. That paint job is a thing of beauty, it looks unreal
The way the fender flare rolls into the body is pure art. What I love about the work you do is not just make it pretty. You build a track car that is flawless but can easily be used to grab some groceries.
That's the goal!
Never been a Corvette fan but lately I'm liking them. This car is beautiful

Nice Work on the C3 !

Nice work, and great color! Oh, I just noticed, no cup holders! It's a stick, need a place for my beer. ; )

That blue beast is MINT! Exactly how I see my ‘69 ‘vette someday. Thanks for posting. New sub even before vid was done…
Love it!!! One of the best ever.

Absolutely awesome Corvette. ♥️😎👍
what a beautiful corvette!!! awesome!!
It sure is!
Not my usual kind of car, but wow, just beautiful and perfectly done!
Thank you!
You guys always build some awesome cars. 👍🏻😎
Thank you Bob!
Perfect for racing...or being the dad of the coolest kids at school when they hop out of this thing.
Ahhh!! I wish I had this. I just need one more Stingray for my Stingray trio collection 🙏 Lets Go, C3!
Could you guys put a few lights under corners ofcar so the width of these huge tires can be seen!!

Good idea!
Nice job looks like u nailed it
Thank you!
WOW 👏 I thought my favorite color was red but after seeing this electric blue im not sure anymore
C6 Corvette Jet Stream Blue!
Dream car right down to the color.
This thing is amazing
Nice build. Not a fan of the newer style rims on this car but to each there own. A lot of hard quality work went this build.
Absolutely stunning vette! Great workmanship. Where can I purchase the same wide body flares?
Much better and so much more beautiful than from factory
Just great and for all people restomoding Corvettes with a new powerful engine..,a manual trans is the only way to go to enjoy the V8 's driving pleasure...
I wanted a way to make this look beautiful with out ruining the car and y’all killed it perfect look
Thank you!
Spectacular!
100% perfect. Color, motor, tranny, wheels, interior, wow. Ida skipped the silly luggage rack tho.
I need this in my life
Excellent. A1Topnotch.
Stunning.
I think Bob will be happy! Though he may not like my drool marks on the car. Superb! HOW MUCH WOULD A CAR LIKE THIS COST, I WONDER?
Thank you! We do not disclose build numbers out of respect for the customer.
nice work, amazing
Bob a'int playin'!
I love this car! If it had power windows it would be perfect.
Slight weight savings.
600hp not concerned with weight..
Exceptional!!!!
Thank you!
Awesome build!!! At least these builds are meant to be driven not just trailered around to shows
You got it!
This is amazing. The only thing I don't like is the chrome. Personally, I would do a chrome delete. But I understand that the chrome gives it the vintage look.
How much would a build like this cost???
Bad ass car! Can you tell me where the side mirrors are from? I'd appreciate it!
Awesome work by you guys, can you tell us the color of the paint? Will you be offering the hood grill/scoop for sale in the future? Thank you!
The color is Jet Stream Blue. It is a factory C6 Corvette ZR1 color. The scoop is available from TrackSpec Motorsports.
GREAT job !
No offence but: since it's used in track days what'sthe reason for the trunk rack? for luggages?
That is amazing
Badass!
Beautiful color! What is it? Very tasteful car. I need one just like it!!!! I need to visit you all. It’s on my bucket list.
This is PPG Jet Stream Blue. Originally came on C6 Corvettes like the ZR1. Stop on by anytime!
Hmmm. Doesn't look like Jet Stream Blue to me. Seems darker and has more depth
I want to know where to get one of those awesome hoods!!!
Dream car.
Beautiful!!!!!
Great looking build. Do you have any info on the electric e-brake and traction control systems mentioned in the video. I'm interested in that for my 77'
This car uses a Davis Traction Control System and EStop Emergency brake.

Clever hood latches!
Race ready!
What color is on this car? From some angles it appears to be the Marina Blue, but from other angles, it's appears darker. Thanks!
This is GM Jet Stream Blue from the C6 Corvette
What hood latch did you use and setup to align pins? They look great!
What brand/color paint is that?? Damn that's a beautiful paint job!
Lord that thing is gorgeous! We need to HEAR it! Long live side pipes!
Fantastic looking car what's the going price$$??
One Great Build !! What is the Cost of this Build??
What is the price rang out the door for a similar spec. This 69 vette is my dream car.
