Oschon being the voice of Ardbert is somehow heartbreaking. And the fact that he’s my Patron (and many others), him being the last of the Twelve that we fight is rather… bittersweet.
Some players discovered a hidden line from Llymlaen where if you /blowkiss to her she'll say, "Oi, cut it out, you!" -and attack you with the Navigator's Dagger, a stun followed by massive damage lol
Llymlaen is one of the best voice acted characters in the game in my opinion. She just has so so much energy and is someone that you just want to sit down and have a nice talk to
Between 7:40 and 7:46 there's actually ANOTHER line he says that can be, sadly, very easily skipped if your dps is good. I think this line is the saddest one, Oschon there says "Once this battle is over, I..." and i think it's absolutely heartbreaking. He says it with such sadness in his voice, and he HESITATES to finish, despite what he says at 7:04 "Those who hesitate are lost". I think this little line adds so much to his fight and it saddens me so many people won't get to hear it.
Oschon voice lines are so heartbreaking, the way he keep thanking us during the fight, making us know that they will be gone after that.................
There's a part in Llymlaen fight where she laughs and cheers at you (after Deep Dive attack), seems to be skipped here due to good DPS but it's worth listening to. I find it very adorable, can't get that little cheer out of my mind since I first heard it 😆
Unfortunately most of the best moments of these fights will just be skipped due to really high dps, over half of nald'thal's fight is already gone, I haven't seen his scales in a long time now

Funny thing about Thaleia is that it not only serves as a requiem for the twelve, but also for Endwalker since the Heaven of Water is basically Sharlayan and the Heaven of Wind hints at what Tural could look like, and the deities we face also tie into those themes quite well. Thus it fits perfectly in the whole vibe of this patch as a transitionary patch.

i hope we somehow in some way get thaliak and llymealn back bc his voice is SO hot and her personality i funny af. like one of the first things she says to us is like "you got the balls to face ME?" XD
Someone commented about this on another video. Originally I was of the impression that Thaliak was the VA of pre-Heavensward Alphinaud but someone said he sounds more like Hien and I can’t unhear it

I've convinced myself that is true, and could even help tie the two characters together. We know Llymlaen in her former life was a researcher at Metabaseos Thalassai, and Galene was conducting observations in that very facility while we were waiting to talk with her.
i wonder if these are Hien, Yugiri and Arenvald's VAs. Would make sense if so, as this released at the same time they reworked the post-stormblood MSQ which would need new dialog recorded
The Navigator has another voice line thats really funny! if you target her with the dote emote, she says "oi you, cut that out!" and then instantly downs you. its very funny.
The way Oschon said " I'm glad it was you who came to us" makes me think he knows we were Azem

Thaliak is voiced by James day. He’s never voiced any other ff14 character before but he has been playing the game for years.
