Feeling Good Angelina Jordan (10 Year Old) - Feeling Good "LIVE on The Stream Gir Tilbake" At only 10 years old, Angelina Jordan delivered a stunning rendition of "Feeling Good" with a talented band on live television. Her voice was powerful, soulful and expressive, surpassing any other version of this song. How many of us can say we achieved such a feat at that age? This performance is simply incredible and showcases her extraordinary talent. “Feeling Good” was originally written by Anthony Newley, Leslie Bricusse and its first performer, Cy Grant. The song was written for a 1964 musical. That musical was entitled The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd. Nina Simone released her version in June of 1965. It appeared on her album I Put a Spell on You. Although various artists have also covered this song throughout the decades, Simone’s rendition by and large has remained the most popular. Simone’s version of this song was produced by Hal Mooney.
Incredible voice, tone and timing if we add age only a prodigy can perform it but, let's talk about Angelina Jordan, in my humble opinion the best musical talent since the passing of Aretha and Amy, beautiful review Candice..thank you so much!!!🤩
Top notch reaction, Candice 🙂 This is among my all time favorite performances by her, recorded on a televised charity event here in Norway. One of MANY charity events she has performed on, helping raise millions of pounds, mainly in support of underprivileged children around the world. And you know the 50.000 pound prize she won on Norway's Got Talent ? She donated it all to charity. That's what's so incredible with Angelina. It's not ALL about the voice and the artist, but also the incredibly beautiful human being that she is. Knowledge and understanding that seems almost a little eerie for such a young person. In that respect, her voice fits the narrative perfectly. It belongs to a MUCH older person with a lot of life experience. The way she emotes and all... She is a definite one off, and an artist and human being that the world sorely needs, now more than ever. And today she is an adult as well, so it will be VERY interesting to see which choices she makes, both career wise but also in other aspects of her life. I am positive that 2024 will be HER year. Pay close attention! I will 😉😊 Much love from Norway, as always! ♥♥♥♥♥
… My favorite performance by Angelina ... Nobody sings this song better than she! Nobody!! I can't find the words to describe how perfectly it is sung!! So Perfect … Absolutely world class !! ... the orchestra is also sensational!! ✨💎✨ Thank you
Thank you for another reaction to Angelina. In my opinion, she is the best singer in the world, and there are thousands of others who would agree with me. Every moment you spend featuring her on your channel will being you great emotional satisfaction. There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed. (1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice. (2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move. (3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus. (4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance. (5) That wonderful crescendo at the end. (6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance (7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand. (8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 2.56 in your reaction video. (9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!" (10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who, curtseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause. Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different
Dear Candice - I've listened to many react to this song - and do you know! You are the only one who's caught the giggle at the end. For me, that was the highlight! It's as if she is saying, "It's all beyond me - where this extraordinary love comes from." I love+ it too. j, 81 year old ex English teacher in NZ.
Candice, thank for the beautiful reaction to this amazing performance by Angelina. Her very personal reading of this classic, which she has developed on her own, is sensational not only for a 10-year-old girl, but for an adult as well, there is not only her understanding of the musical texture of the song, but also the ability to change it in a very personal way. The natural talent of this girl is simply unreal and that ending of it ... 💛🧡❤ I'm adding two link of her piano sessions of this song, 2 years before this show (at only 8 years), to also understand how a fantastic young artist works. ua-cam.com/video/nQbyK_frFiw/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/QdN2dNS1NzQ/v-deo.html

Nina Simone’s version is not close to being on the same level as this, nor is Michael Buble’s!

Just a 10 year old little girl doing her thing. Not a nervous bone in her body.
👍👍😜😜👍👍
Angelina arranged this. Great reaction!
You don’t normally see kids this age standing in front of an orchestra by themselves and singing a song that they have arranged and doing it live.
10 years old
10 years old... how???
