Traxxas Slash 4x4 Hobbywing Conversion (First Video!)

- Welcome to the first video of my RC channel!
The original plan was to show my Traxxas Hoss, but I stripped the pinion while doing backflips with it, so instead, my brother and I install a Hobbywing system in his Slash 4X4.
I stole need to do the verification for adding links in the descriptions, so the links to the RC car, and all the after- market parts on it will be listed in the pinned comment.

Yes it would. The ESC is rated for 2-4S and the motor is rated for 3S. My brother wants to test it with the 3S LiPO I have for my Hoss, so I’ll do a video with it on 3S soon
Too bad they don't make a motor for that esc that is 4s capable
They do. None of the motors in the combo can, but it can run their 4268 (1/8 scale) motors so long as they are 2600kv or less.
You can also get a motor from an Arrma Outcast/Kraton 4S or the Traxxas 540XL. Both those motors are 4S-capable, long-can 2400kv motors that should be within the ESC’s capabilities
I’ve been waiting for a video on this exact system so long. Is there any way you can try a 16 tooth pinion top speed

No gps needed just to see how it handles/holds up
Maybe. My local hobby shop is out of stock for pinions except that 17T I mentioned during the video, so it wouldn’t be for a while.
