Mood! I got my 3DS back in 2012 and my dad set up the parental settings, well it's 2022 now and I'm 17 and he obviously doesn't remember any of the questions and pin lolol. This was definitely a life saver.

I got a replacement 3ds via ebay, and thanks to this video, it saved me from having to spend hours trying to crack the four digit code (which I don't recommend as an option unless you really want to go crazy) which would have had to be an option since I can't seem to do the 50c payments anymore.
(I get stuck with it saying "payment form not ready" I dunno if its just me or if its related to eshop closing next year)
But considering the key generator site still works well a year after the video's date, I highly recommend this approach to anyone buying a 3ds and getting into for lack of better name for it, the "parental control trap".

The code had finally worked and I was able to reset the whole system.

@@aidengarza7539 the four digit pin is for the actual pin you want to change, but when you get the master key, it has more than 4 digits. On the website you have to enter the date of your 3ds and whatnot, then you should get the master key. Then go back to your 3ds click the button that forgets your pin, and the secret question, then you should be able to type in the master key and make a new pin 😄
