So true. If your having a good game you can hard-carry midgame with lots of kills. But if your team can't finish up the game pretty early you fall off so badly lategame that while you were slaughtering people before left right and center all of a sudden you can't properly 1v1 anyone anymore which is a very frustrating experience. Climbing ranked is a full-time job. If you want to climb consistently, you need to keep up with the meta, you need to play often, and for Deadlock specifically, the game is in alpha so changes could happen at the drop of a hat and force you to have to rethink how you use a hero.
And I realized that if I'm going to commit 30-45 minutes of my life to one thing, I better be enjoying every second of it or have something to show for it. I personally don't attach any value to an in-game medal or stats that only I will ever get to see or care about. I'd much rather use that time to learn to improve my content creation skills or to play video games where my level of fun isn't ultimately dictated by the 9 (or in Deadlock's case, 11) other people in the match.
I don't see any reason to play ranked because the style of content that I do doesn't necessitate "top 0.01% gameplay," and all things considered my channel's growth kinda shows that you don't need a high rank to make content that people want to watch.
@@Acex2ronWell ranked in this game is kind of different in my experience. I don’t really care for a rank, but I still play it whenever my friends are away since the likelihood of toxic people is much lower, and people are just more communicative, and I also feel like the SBMM is pretty balanced

When you said pronouns I closed the video
congrats?
Counterpoint, when they said Pronouns, I closed the vid to send to all my friends with the caption, "Based quote of the day"
If you get triggered by the word "pronoun" I wonder if you even made it past elementary school 💀💀💀
Pretty sure it was a joke. Jeez.
These people unfortunately don't joke. They hate women and trans people so much they can't even engage in grammar because of the pronouns.@@alext6933
1:20 that’s clearly a woman
Do I have to explain to people what a "setup" for a joke is?
i havent played deadlock, but they should make most female chars/weak male characters have bigger recoil on average due to weaker arms (same for 1 arm weapons)
havent played deadlock, but would make sense from physics perspective (the bigger the wrist, the less recoil)
i see where youre coming from but i feel like this game isnt going for realism
Brother this game has a living gargoyle and a walking pile of goo
Never cook again
mf thinks women can't use guns
If we're talking realism then Paradox would be dead because replacing your head with a lightbulb results in instant death.
