To the folks that think this is not a ‘74.. Look at the actual body of the the car (the quarter windows). Those are 73-74 specific. Fenders, hood, doors, etc are all interchangeable between 68-74 even though they may not be “correct”, I think it looks awesome!

I love this car!!! High torque starter, couple hands full of hog rings to secure the seat fabric, left rear taillight and redo the head liner! Drive & enjoy it for years. I have been leaving the vintage stereo, even if it’s an aftermarket cassette player & just listen to my media on my portable Bluetooth speaker!! It sounds good enough !! This car sounds awesome!!😊😊
I don't care what model it is, It's a beautiful car , and who ever did the conversion did a awesome job, for that price won't last very long for sure Bud 👍✌️
I'm trying to understand WHY someone would ruin a car like this. The parts and panels are just as accessible as the rest, why go through all the trouble? 73 and 74 were unique from the 68-72 models in that exact fashion and they stole that away from it. Despite looking like a 70, this actually IS a 74. The dead giveaway is the backseat side windows. The top edge of the glass is longer on the 73 and 74.

That bit of damage in the dash plastic is someone being lazy & using a cordless drill as a screw driver with too short of a bit! The chuck of the drill digs in just like that!! I may know from experience??? 😂😂😂 Sighhhh, yeah I did it before, myself,,, 😂😂. For the price, if I didn’t live across the continent & in Canada,, (our dollar is too low currently) I would be doing my absolute best to buy this,, not just negotiating & walking away, buying,,,. Heat riser. Closes off the exhaust to force hot exhaust through a passage in the intake to help keep the carb from icing up in cold weather. Opens up after the engine warms up.

I was sopose to go look at this car to purchase off marketplace couldn't get there till weekend but then the guy sold it , now I see it on here just with different wheels for almost 10k more then he was asking smh
You really are hard headed aren't you? Nick literally tells you it's been converted but since you're blind just look at the shape of the side window frame and google the difference between 68/72 and 73/74 wich were horrendous.
Nice car for the price. But it will need to be kept nice to retain the value. The conversion is cool but its like a blonde with bolt ons, lip fillers, plastic. You just know her family members are still a bit f'd up looking just like the original 74 was odd looking!
Here is an easy way to settle this: Look at the shape of the rear of the side window where it ends at the C-pilar. '73,'74 was squared off, maybe 70 degrees+/-.......'68 through '72 terminated at a point at the C-pilar.

The '74 Nova was totally redesign, it had the bumpers front and rear with the shock absorbed & was a hatch back.

Even though its a 4th gen dressed as a 3rd gen they did a really good job. Thats a great looking Nova and at that price its not gonna last.

That's no '74. They have no side vents. The front looks a '70-1-3. The back side window looks ' 74. That's a miss- match there!
