There are a TON of cars in my city that have their head light removed for "cold" air intake and they run 15 sec 1/4 miles ... What you should be concerned about are the TIRES. FAST cars need traction, traction requires TIRES. When you see a car with tires like that .. think twice about messing with it.
@@danishdaniel785 you know, when people respond with a single word "ok" to someone's detailed response, you kinda question their mental state. But then again in today's society, i expect no less.

2jz bro you could never go wrong am running a 2jz 3.0 stock and the power of that engine is unbelievable imagine a 2jz with upgrades the adrenaline rush would be immense
I saw stock version of this today. It's in original condition like it just came of the production line. I always loved these cars as a kid, the toyota royal saloon as well.
Yasis this was a build i dreamt of when i was a young lad still do and just hear that beast!!! On street wheels this must light up the tires all day. That 50c in the steering wheel tho nice touch!👌🔥🔥
I'm clueless with all the car specs, the first car I drove was a 3.0 l Cressida, beautiful ride, I like the 50c coin in the steering that alone is great memories- fi-bob! i salute you well done!!
For some reason I always enjoyed watching this car since I own a 1986 toyota cressida usdm in st.lucia. Im going to make mine look just like this to reflect this car.
My dad had the exact same cres..same color. I miss it so much. I love your car, it's stunning. It just looks so smooth and effortless with it's power delivery..very very very well built car. Smaak the mis match brake lol...Merc and Toyota..that's the south African way!
Impressive mate!! I'm from nz I've earlier spent 8yrs in the exhaust trade hand buildt from scratch, sheet metal to hand over to the fitters reason why I mention that as I can hear a well put together engine and by the sound of it you know know what's good to. Always ify on engine management so Def appreciate the tip.all the best with rest my friend
Great build & Natie seems like a genuinely good oke. I wonder if the alcantara on the dash stops the front glass from fogging up. My dad had a 2.8i Cressida in the 80's & every time it rained you could see sweet eff all out of the f screen.
This video has been out for a while, I've been watching it, for a while. Every time I watch it, the hairs on my tril stand up. Thank you for the motivation oom👊
Well I learned a few things. I should check out what seats Sabelt has (Recaro is very expensive and not something you buy off the shelf). Learned about the MoTec engine management unit. (I thought it was a Haltech unit, before he said what it was).
I had 2 Cressida's, a 1985 that was Jade Green on the sides with a black hood, trunk & roof (came factory like that!) & A 1989 Maroon Station Wagon that was my sleeper car, single turbo, & as much TRD goodies I could fit on it, the stock Technics stereo system was worth about $3k, it was so good for the time people were targeting it fit the STOCK SYSTEM! 😂💯
am I the only one who enjoys this series? The stuff SAfricans are doing to their cars is just wow.

Proudly S.African..😛
Na bro I'm with you I'm actually surprised your get cars like this here!
Bra am with u

If you're a motorist lover. You know the power of the 2JZ engine. The best engine Toyota ever produced
No Doubt
I mean I'd prefer the 2zzge or the engine from the lfa

Thumbs up to the owner who sounds very humble and go on and fetch your 9 seconds.....
0:35 - This is, by some margin, the most dramatic launch I have ever seen! Spectacular!!
It was quite a thing!
Beautiful cinematography and an amazing car. 7 mins well spent.
Incredible video, from the cinematography to the car and owner himself. Such a humble guy. Hope he sees 9 seconds soon.

Awesome built , this will be a 9sec car soon soon 👍🏻💯🔥
On the steering centre
I know hey. I still have of those just not as polished shows how solid those coins are lol.
It will sure hit 9s once it gets tuned on the dyno
What a beautiful build. I love the fact that he spent 8 years with it running a 1J on the stock box
what a beauty, love how clean the engine bay is.

The nostalgia I have for this car 😑 this car is my ever first car to drive and I absolutely had the best experience with it 👑
"9 seconds street Cressida sounds good."
I hope that for you too, humble owner. That is one sick Cressida.
Old is Truly Gold..Cressida has truly been a great part of S.A history. From being used as a taxi in the kasi to ripping down a drag strip..
There's no reason to be this cool😩
Bruh!!! 😭
Yasis he made me so comfortable😂
This car will forever remain the best conversion ever done on such an old car, shout out to you uncle Natie🙌🏾🔥
This made me smile from beginning to end. My dad also had a green one and warms your heart to see him keeping it old skool
Natie is a big man, with a bigger car, and even bigger heart. Nice built. I always switch on my happy face seeing it on the road.
Nothing better than a car with a story and a owner who knows every detail about the car! Amazing Video!🤧🏎💥⚠️
He have all the info about his car.
Best 7 minutes of my Day. This thing is beast.🔥
1 of the best SA UA-cam videos I have seen....And this car is on another level....excellent work 😍😍😍💯💯💯

I wanna see someone do something like this with one of those old SAP issue Nissan Skyline`s...
Mind I ask what you said? lol What does *SAP issue* mean?
Nissan Skyline, I know... 6th gen (R30 & up)
@Joe Moer I gotta look into hmm.. sounds interesting

Wow!! I really appreciate this. Thanks Guys.
This mean Cress should be called"WILDEBEES".Can we vote on that?
Can we please get a full in-depth interview with the owner and car.
You must fit a Landcruiser bonnet as well, with the cold air intake on it.
Then you can have both headlamps.
Production quality on this one was great. Keep it up. That Cres is badass!
Glad you liked it man!
These were always the baddest cars with the 2jz besides the aristo

It's funny that this series is on par with hoonigan for me in terms of enjoyment, I love to see what cars are being built in my home country.
I miss my 85 Cressida, I had her back in 94, she had great power back then.
Martin Roets? Is he or was he based in Vaal Triangle? Vereeniging/ Three Rivers?
Or maybe four🤔😅
