It’s very surface level to just look at the app itself. It’s bigger than just the app. It’s about setting a precedent. People said the same thing about Cosby being “convicted” by way of opening a SEALED case that was settled out of court. That’s the first time EVER that has been done. Now, ANY case that has been sealed and settled out of court, can now be reopened and used against you. If the precedent is set here, it will open the door on ANY and ALL things people do on ANY app that they don’t like. Slow and steady wins the race.

@@samwoods3430 That is a great question. I agree with Lord Jamar regarding the fact that these social networks today are altogether pretty unpleasant and unsafe overall. So in my opinion it is unfair and an overreach to target TikTok. A better idea would be to add some type of regulations across all social media no matter what country they are from like making these platforms safer for kids and stuff like that.
@@rapalbumdepot7648 the point I was getting at is. A disruption of the echo chamber, control must take place. People don't truly believe censorship is wrong until it affects something they care about. But it really comes down to do you believe the official reason the gubment said or not.😁 Buts it's also possible for multiple things to be true 😄 I'm interested to hear what the CCP has to say about our gubment wanting to ban tik tok.
