- Hi Everyone,
Here's what I bought on my recent trip to Home Bargains. They had some lovely new in bits in for September 2023. I got a range of items from home, beauty and cleaning. I also managed to pick up some new bits for the garden too. I really hope you enjoy this huge haul.

Totally agree about lunch boxes. I was deputy in a primary school and we never got involved with lunch box contents. Not our business unless there was something absolutely dire. No fizzy drinks and yogurt tubes, frubes as they ended up everywhere!
That's totally understandable, the rules drove me mad, everything in moderation X
The school lunchbox thing drives me mad. These are decisions for the parents, not the school. They can encourage but the final decision belongs to the parents- on this and other issues.
Agree on the cost of fizzy drinks. There was a shortage of CO2 a while ago which impacted drinks but it seems they kept the inflated prices even after that was sorted.
In terms of chocolate sizes, the single ones you get in store are different to the multipacks. They make different sizes for even different sized multipacks. And they definitely used to be different. People say the Irish Cadbury is closer to the one we used to know and love!

I think so, everything in moderation. Didn't know about the co2 shortage but of cause they would keep prices up 😭.
Omg this is proper insider info lol. I feel like I need to go to Ireland to just test this. Oh really🤯 is there a shop who sells the bigger bars in multipack? X
I’m Catering Manager at a primary school in Yorkshire ….yes the school has band all chocolate and fizzy drinks …the drinks due to them exploding as children sometimes use their lunch bag like a rugby ball and chocolate for not only healthy reasons ( my opinion is every child should have a little bit of chocolate and I would rather my child eat a Fredo at 10.30am and have all day to to run it off than 3.30 when they are on their way home) but back to the point these days a lot of chocolate is either made in factories with nuts or have nuts in them and we have to be so careful as there are so many allergies ….it’s just not worth the risk xx

PLEASE do research on car seats. The backless booster seats like that really arent safe. They should be rear facing for as long as possible at least until 5. After that a backless booster for as long as possible.
Yeah we did lots of research and she is the right height/weight for the booster X
@@ProjectMumx those boosters aren't safe though. So much research on it.
