As a BSc Nursing student: we also have to ask such questions.. Few of the patients were good enough to interact and tell us about..but sometimes patient either not coperative or don't like to answer they get irritate
That’s awesome! Although, when your older you might change your mind so always keep all doors open for career options just in case. I completely recommend researching about and talking to people in the industry about what the good and bad parts of their career is and question how you would deal with what may be difficult about the job! Good luck to your future!!

Everyone in the health care team needs each other's support..no one can survive or deliver health care services without each other's help..so everyone who works in a hospital..i think doctors, nurses, technicians, hospital attendants, house keeping staff, securities, medical records people all deserve equal respect and credit
On my second day of central emergency I experienced the same thing, but the patient who vomited was sitting behind me, while I was examining the other one.
❤❤❤Doctors are great. They are highly respected, they have to bear somany wrong things, overcome bad situations, finally they need to be calm even in the worst situation 💟💟
Sometimes we are scared to ask these questions to patient's because don't know how they will react . But there is no other way to ask..😂 From my personal experience..
Trust me or not!! I went to my aunt's house for holidays and I saw something hilarious,i didn't even carry myself till home!! I went to someone strangers house and slept there, said to call my aunt!! She picked me hospital, and when doctor came near me, I vomited on his apron!! And he still called me " vomite patient" whenever my aunt visit the hospital 😂
Literally its so much relatable ! Although asking for onset progresaion and duration nature !!! And the Q goes and goes ........ Eventhough examiner hits 🎯 u at spot 😢
Was taking History during my Internal Medicine exam. Patient went from I came here for not being able to walk to runnny stomach to just blindly staring at me 😕
The worst part is after so many questions, the patient is waiting for you to give some treatment, and all we do as ug students is, say thank you to patient
I think. You encountered such experience from patients during your internship days🤣.. And you are really a motivation to me mam... my dream to become dr. ❤️💔
these type of questions by the medical students are part of their learning process, but here this patient seems deliberately shoot her vomiting over the student 🤣🤣
Some think medical students are a nuisance and never give histories, they deny all symptoms and blurt it out when consultants come for ward rounds. Then u feel like exploding at the patient but instead we listen and say ok we ll come back later and eventually end getting punished for not having histories . Its really a sad part of clinical training when it happens. Some patients are really too sick to give histories but others who are perfectly capable of talking show attitude and refuse, they take thier phones out and start chatting for hours they tell that they are too sleepy etc etc. We are all human so sometimes our compassion really goes away when this sort of thing happens,
Doc: How many episodes of vomiting??
Patient : Do you think I was shooting my vomiting these days?
😆😆
😂😝
😂😂
🤣
lol..😂..Nice joke..😇
