4:25 One thing I truly enjoy from Urana’s writing is how close her themes are to artistry and the way an artists develops. Follo in this chapter with that one line is very reminiscent to artists always pleading for faster, big steps to progression. And to give a little extra, Zanka’s entire 3 chapters of backstory is beyond accurate of how artists want to become “the best” and be like people who are “the best” to improve themselves. I truly hope we get more themes like this in the Doll Arc
I'm glad Rudo is realizing being a cleaner is more than just jumping into fights. it shows him growing as Rudo the Cleaner. Also I feel like we may be giving Tamsy too much credit here. Like he's definitely trying to learn about the gloves and their limits. Possibly trying to exhaust him. I can see that. But so far he hasn't been sowing too many seeds of doubt that we've seen. Maybe down the line. But as far as I remember, Tamsy never spoke with Follo except to thanks for figuring out the house was the trash beast. However I will say that moment was weird. Tamsy was not shocked to learn the trash beat's true identity. As if he already knew. Maybe he was hoping to keep Rudo fighting the pigs for as long as possible.
I have a small theory that this little arc may be to not only give us some kind of direction with the cleaners since they are one of the important factions amongst the Gachiverse. But what I really feel is that Urana may be using this little arc to have some breathing room for what may be THE biggest arc so far? Some things may not have been planned right away- like I think it’s odd that we have a scene of Tamzy perhaps interacting with Team Child? But that’s glossed over and now we’re here on Rudo’s first mission so- really think Urana is conceptualizing the Doll Arc through all this
Ok so what happened was tamsy tricked follo into thinking he could make his mark even though everyone including himself knows he isn't a giver and that he can't make his mark but they don't say it because follo himself knows his place and doesn't try to make his mark but tamsy is giving him a sense of hope by vaguely stating "we" will stop the trash beast main body so follo thinking it's his chance to shine is tryna help but rudo says sit down your not part of the team and so now for follo it's crossing the line but for everybody else it looks like he's just crashing out cuz they don't understand him fr
