I have mixed feelings about Kai's rear double bicep. His lower half is one of the best matched probably only by the likes of phil/ronnie/branch. Upper-body though, he has some standout features but also fatal weaknesses. Great bicep peaks but lacklustre forearms, thick lowly-inserted lats but baby traps. also his delts are very flat, badly exposed here by Roelly. Sure the angle is different but even if he tilted his delts back further the result is the same.
In my view the weak traps in BDB is because of his posing, partially. His traps are very narrow(along of lackluster thickness) but in RLS you can see his traps spread over a much bigger area, even tough they are still very shallow. Maybe thats why he choose to pose BDB with his shoulder blades semi-pulled together - to add some thickness to his shallow traps, at the cost of being crunched/narrow.
ronies calves are much weaker than kais... i think his back double is awesome, top 4 of all time for sure. Everybody has a weakness in that pose Ronnie-calves Yates-arms Phil-narrowness Kai traps/delts

Ronnie had weaker calves but the best glutes of all time, hamstrings and outer quad sweep are about equal, hence I rate them on the same level lower body-wise. Phil and Branch are just super complete in the lower body in the RDB pose.
@@GC-by6iz ronnie had HUGE glutes but i wouldnt consider that a good thing, on the contrary its a major eyesore .and quads ( or their sweep) dont matter much on a BACK pose.No amount of thigh or glute size makes up for 19 inch claves on a 280 lb man PERIOD If anything it makes his lower body even more unbalanced. There is a big difference, that few actually realise, between complete and balanced for example im not entirely sure phils lower body is perfectly balanced, i think his calves should be bigger to match his thighs.Remember the ideal ratio in bb is arms=calves.And no way is phil sporting 23 inch calves.... so either his arms are too big, or his calves too small, or a combination of both
@@TheLusianPopa hey i agree actually, I only mentioned completeness and not balance because honestly nobody has perfectly balanced proportions and it's makes no sense to consider lower body balance alone. For example, Ramy's calves are out of proportion compared to his thighs, but because he has a naturally wider waist from the front, his thighs have to be that size in order to be balanced with his waist. Besides, Ronnie's glutes only really got out of proportion 03 onwards (maybe 02 as well when his overall mass was down as well), prior to that he had great balance lower body, also his calves had decent development and were not exactly twigs like some of the modern bodybuilders. He had unfavorable high inserts (especially viewed from the front) but the mass from the rear was considerable.
This was Rolley’s peak, unfortunately. It looked like he had that midsection figured out and he was full and dialled in perfectly. It was all downhill from there however..what happened?
I love the guy but Roelly is getting old and I think 2020 was gonna be one of his best shapes but for now I can only hope for one last great show because hes past his prime and its truly sad because he had so much potential
You guys are forgetting he wasn't able to train the Entirety of Covid, give a man a break, you hardly see any real atrophy on him its just lack of training. His legs however, will not get any better, but probably not worse.
How about a william bonac's best version vs kai greene's best? Both of them have same strengths and weaknesses almost i guess it would be a fantastic match up
Their triceps weren't underrated at all Ronnie and kai both have terrible triceps even they knew it so going against what they even believe was their worse pose doesn't make sense
