Tanner McDaniel has just returned back to California and WOW did he put on an epic performance for the South American leg of the IBC World Tour. He played 2nd in all three events, making three consecutive finals, and has earned his ranking at #1 on the World Tour, so HUGE congratulations to him, lets keep the ball rolling to Maldives! By now he´s the best rider on tour but It wasn´t complete. He fell inside the barrel and was engulfed. That´s the truth.
As well as the invert to reverse he tried on Arica´s contest final. He needed a low score, PLC was extremely insecure during all the event and a well executed roll or a simple invert would be enough to give him the title but instead he choose the most dificult way. And loose.
This proves that be the best doesn´t mean be the winner and it´s a lesson to be learned if he wants the world title.
And I´m sure he will. Many of it.

@@Agordon-vw9lx there was precedent set in other years for landing controlled in the pit and then getting closed out on - I think it was Tristan Roberts on a left at fronton a couple years ago - landed a backflip and got smoked but awarded the score…
