Pinball Feature: Bally Mata Hari Modded With Arduino With New Rules!
Вставка

- This is an early look at a prototype pinball mod that allows a small microcontroller to hook into early Bally/Stern solid state games, and completely rewrite the rules! The technology is in the early stages but is really promising and there's a good chance there will now be special versions of modified rulesets for most of these early solid state games. Turning these games from shallow into more complicated, multi-mode games, even with wizard modes, skill shots and custom sound. I am demonstrating an early prototype of the system.

You could get your gi back by repinning the rectifier board... easier than changing the rules, but I respect the hustle-
what an exciting development in pinball
Fantastic - Im into arduinos a lot and also into my BallySS's in a big way - Deffo interested in helping you guys out here.
That's pretty darn cool. Makes me wonder what can be done with certain Early SS. I have played my Xenon for many years now and often wonder what a code rewrite would be like.
So you could retheme a machine with this, complete with sounds. Pretty neat.
Yes, the latest finished project with sounds, light animations, and modes is Meteor: ua-cam.com/video/V_o26gsxbrE/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Ike
Any updates? I just got a Mata Hari and would love to see more of this
Actually expect more updates soon. Be sure to subscribe and you'll be notified.
I just picked up a mata hari that I'm going to be restoring so I'm going to do a whole series on restoring and modding
Maybe I'm just a snob but Mata Hari always felt like it was missing some things that could have made it a lot better. Spinner(s) maybe? Idk. I'm definitely interested in seeing what the new code can do. I absolutely love my Galaxy 2021 and I thought it was horrible in stock form.
This is that super mint low plays huo you scored, right?
yes, there are pictures of the game in detail here: pinballhelp.com/pinball-porn-1977-bally-mata-hari/
Why can't u just remove the 6800 chip and install Arduino and the run code.
This is EXACTLY the sort of thing I want to investigate with my Black Knight pinball machine. After playing it awhile, I've discovered some things I'd like to change with existing game play. I've wondered if it's possible to attach an Arduino/Raspberry Pi into the game and tweak it up. There needs to be a dedicated forum for this particular thing! Does one exist?
There is some progress being made with this same system on Williams machines. I'm not sure if the Black Knight architecture is supported yet, but stay tuned..
