- I've gotten a couple of requests for a Jay video, so I made this! I hope you guys like it :) I'm also planning to make a part 2 as there were too many moments to include in just one video.

Jay is such a good husband. I mean, he cashed out his IRA, moved to upstate New York for a failing B&B, and believes that his wife can see ghosts. Truly, Sam can play D&D once in awhile.

Plus D&D made three ghosts happy! I think that Sam needs her own character so she's just not sitting there to translate.

Jay literally makes the US version so much better. I love the UK version so much but Jay's genuine interest and interaction with ghost tops it.

I really love the husband in this one so much better. He is naive but not dumb. He gets things done and not let everything fall on the wife. He is humorous. Also his connections with the ghosts is so cute.

I think this Jay edges it out as better than the British version
i've only seen a few episodes of the british version so i can't really compare Jay to the british husband but i must say it would be pretty hard to beat Jay lol
The British husband annoys me. His mouth is always wide open. Shit is weird.
No. Not just "edges out." He's much better than Mike, in that he goes beyond just being the clueless buffoon character.
to clarify U.S. Jay is much better in my opinion, but that I think is the final straw making the US version overall better
In my opinion, i much prefer mike (the British one) bc he is a loveable clueless and lets allison have her time with the ghosts while still being there for her. I just think hes a very rounded husband and character in general

I think Jay needs to see photographs of all of the ghosts who existed after photography was invented, not just Trevor. That would be Pete, Flower, Alberta and Hetty. It would deepen Jay's understanding of them. Maybe I missed something in the episodes about Pete and Alberta. Did Pete's family and Todd share photographs of Pete and Alberta with Jay and Sam? It would have been quite natural and expected to do that.
i would love for sam to show jay pictures of the ghosts and maybe try and draw the ones who weren't alive when photography was invented, idk if you've seen the bbc version of this show but in that version Alison (the one who can see the ghosts) has a ghosts board up with pictures and drawings of the ghosts and i think it would be cool if Sam did the same thing :D as for which ghosts jay has seen, we have only seen evidence that he knows what Trevor and Alberta look like. Trevor because of pictures and then Alberta because he saw Todd's back tattoo of Alberta's face plus he might've had pictures of her on his murder board for the Whodunnit episode. He might've gotten to see pictures of Pete but we don't know for sure because i dont believe its been shown in the show. and then i dont think he has seen the other ghosts because there arent any pictures of them available
There would be photographs of Flower, and Hetty would no doubt have had a photograph or two taken before she died. And it's plausible that someone would have done a painting of Isaac.
@@1401minstrel oh yeah I forgot about flower, yeah I’m sure Sam could probably find a photo of her somewhere so Jay could see :) since Hetty was so rich there probably is a picture of her somewhere, though it might be a little harder to track down. Maybe Sam could find it in an archive? Or she could have a painting of herself like Elias. I also think it’s possible that a painting of Isaac exists, but tracking it down would be difficult. I hope that somehow Jay gets to see depictions of all the ghosts, whether it be by photos or drawings or something :)
Also needed more Jay as Hetty.
I love that episode, though i was a little conflicted on whether or not to include parts where Jay is possessed because I wasn't sure if he qualified as Jay or as Hetty during those moments lol
If only i had anticipated a ghost catfishing my sister....😂

It definitely took a few episodes for these two to become likeable.
I think his moody almost all the time because of his sensibility and logic. I mean his wife literally asks him to do or play with crazy things, if that doesn't unnerve him, I don't know what will.
Tbh jay is just like a bff he is kind i can observe the relation ships with pete

As much as I adore the American version the British one will always be my favourite. It’s not just because I’m british but the actors were the ones i grew up with and now it’s over I’ve started watching the American version. It’s so great and funny but the british one I’ll always be my favourite ❤

I love BBC ghosts but I think this husband is better and his relationship with the ghosts
