I just realized, I think the reason Inuyasha started acting smug and calling Koga stupid is because he was trying to cheer Kagome up, make her laugh. I can't tell if that was his intent, but towards the end Kagome was feeling better
IKR, he’s so blinded by his love for Kagome that Koga never realized that she only sees him as a friend. Seriously, it wasn’t enough that he made a promise to marry Ayame, but he even makes an excuse that Inuyasha can’t even keep Kagome safe. Jeez, Koga is a honest and loyal friend but he’s just a Knucklehead.
@@sonichart1364 Ayame is a filler character, she was never in the manga. However, Koga is a hypocrite. He tried to lecture Inuyasha about putting Kagome in danger which is a joke coming from the guy who dragged Kagome into that flock of bird yokai. The dude was obsessed and deluded, even after Kagome made it crystal clear on who she likes right to Koga's face when she first met him.

After seeing a good amount of episodes of the series, I began to get annoyed at Kagome. She's so immature and doesn't understand Inuyasha's feelings and is so abusive towards him. She abuses the power of the beads around Inuyasha's neck and I feel sorry for him. The way she always screams out Inuyasha! is so annoying too. She also isn't nice to Hojo after all the things he did for her and I feel sorry for him too. Her English voice actress is also grating. Kagome's just a lousy anime heroine due to her lack of having a good heart. How in the heck can she keep on purifying jewel shards if she has negative emotions towards Kikyo? I thought one would have to be pure of mind and heart to purify tainted jewel shards, which Kagome isn't.
