I would recommend anyone to not do these practices until a guru decides to introduce and guide you to this practices beforehand, otherwise there could be dangerous consequences.

There are no gurus. It comes from books and my own experience. Reference books are listed in the description box.

Thank you for your wisdom. I am reading about this . I have been doing Vespana for years . how can I start this and how many hours a day should I practice?

I think you should start with tummo(the mystic heat). In my case, I made it a point to tense the abdominal and back muscles toward the center even while working or talking all the day, and I came to feel the energy (winds) through the central channel.

In modern times there are books and other information available, so we can look for gurus of the mind from there.

So when you breathe in deeply. You are letting the wind go down the left and right channels simultaneously?

      Tsongkhapa says in his writing,
'Though there are many different doors for injecting the two wind-energies into the dhūti, those arts cause the furor to burn, melt the enlightenment spirit, and give the fruition of the wisdom of the four joys or the four voids . '
There are many ways to do this, but the goal is to dissolve the winds that is flowing in the left and right channels into the central channel.
