The smash racket is probably your best creation to date. It’s a good first racket. I wouldn’t spend money on the sensei. For around £150 you can definitely build a very good custom racket.
not really, as only 1 rubber in pro section is 30-50e, blades starts from 100e till 250e. Anything fast with carbon or other speed material is over 300e so you would need 200-300e for a solid custom racket.
@@jussttgThat's just not true. You can build yourself a really good custom setup with around 150 bucks. Since they are also marketing the Sensei at beginners, it's just not the best idea to go for it instead of a custom racket at the same price.

Challenge: Play a game of table tennis except each time you hit it back and forth, the ball must bounce an extra time; first hit: 1 bounce, second hit: 2 bounces, whoever fails to hit their number of bounces loses! to be fair it makes sense. the expensive ranket only makes sense if you have a decent amount of skill. doesnt matter how fast you want to play. if you are bad, the extra speed on the racket wont help you. you could only make a point for a professional defensive player. but that person wouldnt get any of those
Haven't tried it but the Sensei Racket is rather expensive for a Premade one ... I play for almost 20 years and most of my Rackets were less then this ^^V Right now I play Rasanter R42 on both sides (its on sale very often for 40€) and use my old Andro Blade which I am using for 10 years already which was also somewhere around 40€ and I'd say its not far off from a Professional Racket except for it beeing less hard then what most professionals play .... I just can't stand hard rubbers, I just changed from 34° sponge to 42° which was rather hard already as I still often hit the net as the cuve is so much lower.
The most expensive one is Fan Zhendong zuper ZLC with Dignics 09C. It can easily create heavy top and back spins. If you choose that blade you can control every ball perfectly and make consistent shoots with more accuracy. There are many type of them from butterfly: Mizutani super zlc, Fan Zhendong super zlc, lin yun ju super zlc all of them are super professional blades.
The most expensive MASS produced. overwise it's no limit, there are SMB manufacturers who'd make you $3000 blade if you ask for it and it'll be totally pro tt compliant
Can you make a game with old 38 celluloid balls and old curl or piranja rubbers with long pips? In a way, the old unpredictable table tennis times. Some old players told me that they used to put the curl or piranja rubber in the microwave to make them even more unpredictable. It would be great if you could try that out!
1. I love u guys. This is the best content ever. 2. beat the record for the longest distance throwing a ping pong shot in to a cup: the record is 11.30 meters
For yall who want to know what the 500$ racket was, here it is. Background info: Butterly, a pingpong stuff making company, is one of the most famous world wide. The blade itself was I think the 30th anniversary blade that costs 400 or even 450$ and the rubbers, i couldn't see clearly, but if you want to fit the 500$ budget, it's probably dignics 09 or tenergy 64 or 05. Any type of rubber provided by butterfly is good to use, but as Mikka said, you should research not only the rubber, but your playing style as well.
pls content idea/fun idea: try playing mini basket ball using the table tennis: table as the court, rackets to dribble and ping pong ball as the basket ball. You can even add small baskets either sides of the table
Challenge: turn one side of the table vertically 90 degrees and play a "squash ping pong" variant where the ball must hit the vertical side then the flat side
Never pay more than $50 for a ready made racket unless you buy DHS 5002 or 6002. For more expensive rackets always buy a good blade (you have a lot of good options between $100 and $250) and rubbers that fit your style. Stiga Arctic Wood is probably the best blade for performance / price ratio and a must have for developing players regardless of style. DHS , Nittaku and Xiom offer some interesting blades option for offensive and all around players. Defensive players suffer a bit more, but Yasaka and DHS have good options especially when paired with suitable rubbers.
You guys are REALLY good at table tennis... and REALLY bad at science/statistics. I rate this video a 2 out of 7 for the usefulness in determining which rackets are good, but I give it a purple out of rainbow for how cool the shirts are.
actually i want to buy the smash and the sensei but the handle is in the FL handle, hope you guys will make different bat shape after this ( like the ST shape ) ❤❤❤
they used professional custom rackets. miikka i think used stiga clipper wood and hurricane 3 + tenergy 05 for some time? all i know about otto is he has used a timo boll spirit blade before.
In middle competition when you wanted the ball come back to you - you obviously put more energy into the most expensive racket. So if not for that, it would not win :) But spin is real, so thats fair.
I haven't played table tennis in prob 7 years, and even when I did play it was just in the office. Watching this got me looking at rackets and rubbers and justifying spending $600 on a setup lol. Luckily I'm in a place where I can afford it but thankfully my brain did some thinking and said wtf are you doing
The speed (in the racket...)... is just like money in the wallet, and horsepower in the car. ALL men (boys...?) want more than they need, I know I do. But nowadays I try to be a bit wise and realistic, that's good both for my game and my wallet.
