Good video. One piece missing though around 0:48 to my knowledge most computers aren’t issued unique ipv4 addresses. In normal circumstances the home router is given the unique ip, and then devices connected to the network are given an address from a set “private” range like 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255. These are unique locally but not globally. Think like the apartment buildings address and then your apartment number. There are a million “apartment 1”s but they don’t conflict cause it’s meaningless outside of the specific apartment building. Then theres a process called network address translation where on the way out your private ip is swapped for your routers public, and vice versa on the way back.
