Wimbledon is a 2004 romantic comedy film directed by Richard Loncraine. The film stars Paul Bettany as a journeyman tennis pro (once ranked 11th) and Kirsten Dunst as an up-and-coming tennis star. Sam Neill and Jon Favreau co-star. The film follows Peter Colt's final Wimbledon, where he meets Lizzie (Dunst) and regains his passion for the game.

Only in a romcom would a lone woman showering not immediately start to flip out when a strange man enters her room unannounced, but instead proceed to calmly and casually flirt with him as though it was the most common thing in the world.

Elsewhere on YT there is a clip from a film (not sure which) and in this Kirsten Dunst plays a character who is standing on a bridge over a river and strips down to a bikini. Then she sees a man about 30 yards away watching her. She becomes a bit angry and defensive but her reaction is rather more realistic than here.
I'm an Uber driver in LA. One night I picked up two women at night so didn't really see who was getting in to the car. The three of us chatted for about ten minutes before we were stopped at a well lit intersection. As the passenger sitting behind was saying something I looked up at her in my rear view mirror and realized that Kirsten Duntz was in the back seat of my car. She and her girlfriend were very very cool. Very gracious, easy to talk to and both just really fun.

My Brother worked with her years ago and she ended up at one of our MASSIVE Thanksgiving dinners. She glommed onto my Mom all day and was an absolute delight. My experience is folks are folks. Some of us have better jobs...

I love this movie. The two leads had wonderful chemistry, essential for a good Rom Com. And then throw in Sam Neil as Abby's father, a terrific ensemble cast, and witty dialogue and you have a recipe for greatness.

Paul Bettany is probably one the most under-rated actors ever. He always give incredible performances and to be honest even though Kirsten Dunst isnt a terrible actress at all he carries this movie
Most actors in Sharpe are incredibly underrated but have done incredibly well.
His wife in real life is 10x hotter than Kristen Dunst

First off, he constantly bets against his brother in tennis matches, then he sold photos of his brother and the fl to paparazzi and also occasionally borrows his brother's house for a "good time" if you know what I mean.

I've seen this movie 1000 times, own it on Amazon and will still watch it again as it scrolls across my feed on UA-cam. Great dialogue, chemistry, humor, music, tennis, and everything else you could want in a rom com

Hilarious, dude is one of my favorite actors since I saw him in a movie with Heath Ledger. A musical set in medieval times. A knights tale I believe. This looks cute, as does she. Worth checking out.

I watched this movie when it came out (I don't want to do the math). I think it caught my attention because the commercials had one of my favorite songs, but that may have also been the Prince and Me around the same time.Haven't thought about it in years, highly underrated movie. THANK YOU for the memory!
this was a great movie.
This really was. I don't always love the absurdity in RomCom - people just doing the stupidest things. This had a nice mix of the drama of people having their own lives and goals along with the romantic tomfoolery that we all enjoy. I like these stories where people get together who make sense together -- not that "opposites attract" or "love against all odds" tripe that sets impossible expectations of what ideal romance should look like.
I dunno why but i just adored this movie in high school but then again makes sense ive loved pretty much everything with kirsten Dunst since i was a child ❤ her filmography and roles are so iconic.

@@ilsevdg1194 I haven't seen the whole film. Later in this clip she asks his name, suggesting that at most she may have seen him around but doesn't know his name. If there is more to it if the whole film is considered, I will find out when I do see it.

No, in reality a woman would probably freak out no matter what. Movies like this one, from 2004, _think_ this is what women want. Movies now would have her character call the cops, and after his earnest apology they could begin a friendship/relationship.
