Thank you for sharing. I just recently started my own business as an independent special inspector. Would you happen to know how and where I can start bidding on a jobs?
Hello , Length of the weld can be anything when you are using specific diameter of the electrode: it will affect your parameters like input amps, voltage , wire speed and travel speed
@@AmirulIslam-dm2ek good question do you want to know from Design Engineer side or inspection side? If I explain generally , once the design is created: Design engineering categorize each and every weld joint and based on that he generates WPS. of that WPS is not pre qualified then he will ask to do some testing and validate that procedure. that is called as PQR once they are approved and release: contractor is bound to get his welders certified under that and finally welding inspector will check them before project starts
@@weldinginspection7239 actually i want to know as a welding inspector.. Suppose i go to a new project as a qa/qc engineer and that project haven’t start yet.. There need wps,pqr etc.. So what will i do first? And where to start? If you describe to me i will be grateful to you
@@AmirulIslam-dm2ek Yes, I can explain that. I can give you my example here in USA and what I would do first I will ask for the drawing and project document. that will explain me kind of project and also the specification. once I am aware of the project and specification then I will start collecting more documents , I will look for WPS and PQR from project Engineer or Design Engineer. (if not then I will request them) once I get those documents , I will make sure contractor/welders are certified to do that work. if not then I would request them for the certification documents first. once I will get them , I am ready to work on the project. hope it explains. you can ask more questions if you want.
Very good knowledge of welding inspector responsible.... vedio share... thanks..
Thank you for the comment Er Santosh Thakur
Thanks
Usefull video 🎉
Ye hum hai
Ye hamare bhai ka video hai
Aur hum yaha best learning kar rahe hai...🤞🏻
thank you bhai, you made my day. :)
Thanks a lot sir.. I need to calculate the weld length with melting point a single electrode. Electrode dia is 3.2mm
pls make a complete vedio on pre heating. mendatory & non mendetory points when to doo as per codes & standards.
Thanks a lot for YOUR precious reply.
you are welcome
pls add in vedio ab8t welding machine for welding inspector responsibility at shop floor.
Sir please make video on purpose of preheat
Plz sir explain that how do ready weld map.
sure , I will. do you have one example ? I can create a video explaining that

thank you Anil
Dear sir,
If there any formula to find out the length of weld with 3.2 dia electrode?
Hello , Length of the weld can be anything

Can you give me the formula? You can calculat with E-7018. Travell speed 80/m. Amp is 102. Volt is 22.

Please ask
I have some question..
Hello, how I can I help you Sir ?
Actually i need to know what is the procedure to start a new project? Such as pwps, pqr, wps..
