You know, that's why I like your channel more and more. You are not pretentious and you do not even gear slap us in the face. You present us budget things with the pros and cons, but it works and serves perfectly to be creative. This is the idea. It's not about the gear! Please do not stop and continue to give us affordable equipment reviews, because most of us are not rich and just want to make good videos and photos without spending tons of money. Congratulations!
Spot on. I think people insensitivitly throw around multi-hundred dollar numbers in too many cinematography/photography videos for components that aren't absolutely essential to be that expensive.
Just got the 7artisans 25mm f1.8 E mount lens and I am wowed by the sharpness and the focus distance. The Bokeh too is so sweet. For $70 that is a monster lens.
Damn..... I didn’t know that lenses even existed below 100... All the other youtubers literally changed my definition of ‘cheap’.... Woah...! Great vid mate 👍🏻
I discovered your channel pretty late in my life and here's my conclusion: This is the most unique, beautiful and useful UA-cam channel I've ever come across. Lots of love from India! ❤
GREAT Reveiw! I have been collecting c mounts for 8 years now. C means Cine and they were used for early movies, not just 16mm. One thing: you neglected to show the swirly effects of some of these as they have uncorrected aberrations that make some portraits very interesting.
This is a dream. I used to love shooting on my old manual lenses, I had a really nice 28mm but it was just too soft on my FS700. But I'm definitely going to pick up some of these, been desperate for a 35mm for a while! Great video. Aram
Nice ive always been a big fan of all your videos but reviews of low cost lenses was what i first watched from your work. So this is extra special. Thanks Caleb
wow man this is just what I needed, I was looking for some macro and some shallow depth of field but I could not afford the lenses out there but this is just fantastic 23$ on ebay and you can get both macro shots and shallow depth of field. thanks a lot this really made my day
Okay, now this is my speed. Happy to find your channel. Solid information. Thinking of buying a GH4 to replace my D3300. C mount looks to be the way to go.
Thanks so much for this. I just ordered my first mirrorless camera and I was dreading getting expensive lenses right away, I will have to buy used and these little suckers will give me nice creative toys to play with while I save up. Plus they are tiny so will still have usefulness when I do get bigger lenses.
I love the thought experiment, what if computers and smartphones were invented first and paper second? People would be amazed that there were devices they could read in any weather, light-condition, and lasted for centuries. These lenses are also misunderstood. They have a look that can't be obtained with "real" (expensive) lenses. That look is mesmerizing. I have a $1,500 Zeiss and a $30 version of one of these. It's hard for me to accept, but I often prefer the image out of the $30 lens. Why? They focus one's attention on the subject. Bokeh and blur make up the rest. They have a look that simply cannot be replicated with any other lens no matter what the cost. What these lenses capture is probably what your eye captures, except your brain fills in the blurry sides. They work really well on the EOS-M too, btw. Like Caleb, I find the 35mm is the sweet spot in these lenses. It gives a look you simply cannot replicate in Photoshop because even though there is a lot of blur, it IS based on focal distances a computer can't figure out from the $1,000 lens. Yes, in instagram you can get similar looks, but again, these are lot sharper and deliver very saturated images compared to a smartphone. In short, the 35mm c-mount is the most important lens I own because it challenges my presumptions about photography and art. That I don't use it more is a testament to my lack of courage because if I'm honest, they produce images I love, no matter what I point them at! Take thie following photo, $1,500 Zeiss or $30 c-mount? www.flickr.com/photos/maxotics/9754099553/in/album-72157635527242324/
I have one of the 25mm lenses for my G80. I got it with a M4/3 adaptor and it focussed well past infinity and was therefore wasting part of its focus travel. I added two or three 0.5mm copper shims so that it now only goes a tiny bit past infinity and can focus a bit closer. These are cheap to buy on eBay.
Those overhead shots are so gorgeously lit. You still rockin the westcott flex light for that setup? Would love to see an updated BTS photo or video for such a setup. As always, thanks for the great content!
I own the 25mm, it does have a unique, vintage kind of look. That makes sense right now since the faded film/vintage look is trending in photography and video.
I own the 25mm 1.4 and have used it with clear image zoom and is ok, but the fujian 35mm 1.7 is awesome, I WENT THE EXTRA MILE AND GLUED (epoxy) A 34 TO 52MM ring adapter AND I CAN ATTACH MY ND FILTERS TO IT 👌👍👐👐👐
Bastien Laure look in ebay for 34-52mm adapter ring, use clear epoxy glue to glue it, need to put adapter facing down 👇 then lens front hole inside the center of adapter (lens facing down too) apply epoxy where the lens meets the adapter, just do it on the outside, no need to risk putting glue inside and possibly glue the lens 😓, let it dry overnight and boom!! You can use filters, lens hoods and lens caps, don't forget to buy a lens cap since the lens hood and cap that come with lens won't fit anymore, you're welcome 👌👌👍👋
Bastien Laure idea is not mine, this is just the method I figured by myself, look for fujian 35mm 1.7 nd filter here in UA-cam from a channel called AEG you'll see it, he just didn't do a tutorial
Is the focal length on a M43 camera like a GH5 still 25mm in a fullframe equivalent? Or is it a 50mm equivalent? Because Cleb used it on both Sony and M43
This video was so beautifully shot. I find myself admiring each shot. Caleb, how to you keep your props free of lint or dirt while you're filming? The lenses look like they've never been touched.
Great video! I already have the 35mm f1.7 and i didn't know about the other lenses, you should make more of this videos where you test super cheap lenses like theese (if you find any)
I have and love (among my many manual focus lenses) a Night Hawk 80mm f/1.7 (a security camera lens) that I go for less than $40 NEW! It is a perfect focal length portrait lens for full frame cameras but, really shines as a portrait lens (especially outdoors where I need to blur the background) with a crop sensor camera like my Sony A6500.
Wow! Very nice! I'm going to get that 35mm f/1.7 for my GX8. It'll be nice for when I don't want to carry the zoom around, plus the macro capability will be fun. Thanks! (PS From a pro writer: There's no such thing as "very unique." "Unique" means one of a kind. ) (PPS Your son is so cute... handsome, even. Seems very inquisitive and active. It'll be fun to watch him grow on your vids.) :D
I own the 25mm and 35 1.7 myself. The 35 is awesome as hell. I use them on my Bmpcc and they're great but WARNING to Canon users, they do make a c mount to EF adapter however because of the flange distance it will turn your C-mount lens into a dedicated macro lens with zero ability to focus beyond an inch or so. The 25mm is a little janky and is starting to leave metal shavings everywhere but for a $20 security camera lens its still kind of rad. just be sure to have a rocket blower nearby after dismount
DSLR Video Shooter haha it's true. it makes me sad that THEY (canon) have even made this an issue for the rest of us. I will never argue with anyone that makes the switch because all of the reasons are always solid reasons. Are Canon mirrorless worth a damn? Knowing zero about them I would assume "not really-ish" since I see no one on UA-cam talking about them much, but I'm curious.
Curious about this. I know Caleb used the other 35mm C-Mount with the EOS-M in another video. So is it just the 1.7 where this an issue? Or is this a C-Mount thing?
@@dslrvideoshooter In your "tiny cinema camera" video, you used the 1.6 C-Mount lens instead of the 1.7. Why would the 1.7 create a macro issue, but not the 1.6? I'm wondering because I'd like to get one of the lenses, and you recommended the 1.7 in this video over the 1.6...but if the 1.7 is unusable on an EOS M, then it's an easy choice.
Hey Sully, I'd recommend the APS-C covering ones over on AliExpress (make a bundle discount offer inquiry to the store Rocks Photographic Equipment). They have a green circle on 'em and are quite a bit more refined than these (I've had these on the GH2, they're toy lenses, the 25mm f/1.4 is absolutely cringy, but the others are indeed quite alright). Then I had a whole generic APS-C set (including a 8mm f/3.8 that covers 4/3"). And now the green circle ones!
Hi Caleb, I've been using the 35 f1.7 for some time now on the 6500 and I love it, I didn't get any lens hoods options back when I bought it, however I did some simple DIY. I super glued a simple 37 to 49 filter adapter to the plastic lens cap that this lest shipped with (I cut a whole so that the thread of the adapter fits nicely in there) and then I got a generic 49mm lens hood. Everything is now nicely glued together, nothing sticks out (because the camera body adapter in the back is also wider) and it also helps with the flares, not to mention that I can now add Rubber Hoods, ND filters, all kinds of stuff to that new thread I created. Also, I want to ask about macro tubes and IBIS in general. (hypothetically) If you are using a 35mm lens and you attach tubing that extends it 10mm more, does the IBIS setting have to be at 45mm? I would love to see you do some testing and talk about this. I presonally have done loads, but I can never tell.
There's a 4/3" covering 8mm f/3.8. I believe there's also a 16mm... but that probably only covers S16 sensors like the BMPCC. You'd need to use ETC if your camera has it, but that kind of negates having a wide lens in the first place...
I’m buying a Sony a5100 within he next week and that is going to blow my budget and I was super disappointed because there is a few lenses I want to buy. I can now buy one or two of these to play around with while I save up for nicer lenses! Thanks!
i bought the canon eos m and the fujian 35mm 1.6, they are great thanks for your videos i love them. I'm wondering is there any cheap c-mount zoom lenses?
This video is older but extremely useful to someone like me who just ordered a Canon M camera and is awaiting delivery. I would just like to ask you about your recommendation, the Fujian 35mm 1.7. Which types of adapters can one get to use standard-sized ND filters on that one?
Hi, it was a long time...so, first of all, congrats for this concise vid and thanks for the specs and all that help of yours! After having bought a used G7 with its 14-140mm ( f/3.5 not enought as my project is to film often in the darkness), quite disappointed by the depth of field (well, I've only used my FZ200 and SX60 for 2 years), I was considering buying the same chinese stuff, Fujian kit from AE (25+35+50mm). My greatest fear is about the vignetting, yet. Many people out there just put it in one word: 'TOY'. So, if it's said being 'cheap' (still, this remains relative, up to me, if it's just some useless junk, compared to other people's priorities), would you still recommend I gave it a try? Again, great samples of shots, thank you. Sincerely, Max
Also a heads up: the 35mm 1.7 here has a thread size of....35mm. I can't tell you the ridiculous trial and error I just had to go through to figure this out. So 35mm Is the filter/step up ring size you'll need for that one.
@caleb pike awesome content as always. Changing the subject, I'm wondering about wireless lavalier mics. I saw you did a video on one before...what is our option if we wanted to mic more then one person? Still a newb to audio. Thanks
One thing i noticed you didnt mention in the video was that when you put these on a micro 4/3 lens they tend to double the distance. Im still new with camera stuf so i dont rwally know the technical terms but what i meant is that a 35mm lens will act a little bit more like a 50-70mm lens. Which can be something bad but you can get around it by getting a focual reducer but those can get pretty expensive. But other than that this was a great video
Great video. Love the thumbnail. Could you make a video on buying lenses at ebay? I want to buy old lenses but i dont know whether it is save to buy the cheap ones or if they are in bad conditions. Thank a lot
I believe these lenses would work great with a beast grip pro for the iPhone that has a 37mm tread mount. I’m guessing with a step down ring it would do the trick
The Meike and Neewer 25/0.95, 28/2.8, 35/1.7, and 50/2 are rebranded Kaxinda lenses. The Kaxinda 35 F1.7 I had didn't even seem to be as good as the Fujians reviewed here. The 50/2 is more of a 50/2.8, and fine for that. The 28/2.8 is a bit better than the cheapest 25mm C-mounts.
Hello thank you so much for the nice videos that you always make, thy are really helpful. question please? I have Panasonic lumix G7 and the kit lens 14-42, so i was thinking to buy also the Panasonic 25mm but its a bit over budget, is there any of this lenses in this video you recommend for me to buy that can make same job of the panasonic 25mm, I want to have the nice poka blure. what you suggest for me ? thank you so much
Caleb, there is a 25mm/1.8 lens similar in style (and cost) to the 35mm/1.6 that you've shown. It has no vignetting with APS-C sensors, so might be more interesting than 25mm/1.4
Yup! Exactly, on AliExpress there's a whole sets of APS-C covering ones, just look for 'CCTV APS-C lens' or something. There's even an 8mm f/3.8 for 4/3" sensor cameras. Rocks Photographic Equipment (a store on AliExpress) and some others also sell certain 'green circle' lenses. They are the latest versions of these APS-C ones and are quite a bit more refined. Total recommendation! Better than that 25mm f/1.4 toy lens with strange milky flares.
Those 'green circle' lenses are nice, but kinda irrelevant to the Caleb's video, as they cost $60+ (and I would buy 7artisans lens for this money anyway)
I bought the Lumix LG7 after watching your review. I'm happy with the camera. I now am in need of a lease that keeps me in focus and blurs the background (depth of field).. I believe a F1.7 will do that. Will the 35mm F1.7 do what I want and will it work on my G7. All I am doing is recording videos for my UA-cam channel. Also, if I guy the one that at Ebay it appears to include everything I need. Is that correct? Thank you
I have been looking for some cheap lens for my old NEX-5 .. I am sure we can use any of these lens.. Just one thing I wanted to know ... whats the plant that's on your desk???... I loved it.. want to get one for myself....
Love your videos, and appreciate the info but I have to say I get tired of UA-camrs downplaying the inexpensive lenses they work with even though they're shooting great footage and pics with them. You don't have to keep reminding us a lens isn't the "best in the world", especially if something good, or even great, comes out of it. Especially considering you shot yourself with one of them and the results are fantastic. Really dig your channel though, and it's more of a nitpick with every camera Tuber than you specifically. A toy lens is only a toy until it's used to create something great.
Hi. I have a Lumix G70 and I want to buy some cheap lens and I dont khow what to choose because I see 1.7 or 1.8 and I dont understand that. Do u know what size I should but that I can use without adapter? Thx for your help
Are you still using that 18-35 Art that you briefly show? thinking about either picking that up or the new 24-70 Art. Shot both. Love both. But SO TORN. lol
Awesome, thanks for the review! Exactly what I was looking for :) I plan to convert both my webcam (logitech 4k) and a cheap action camera to CS mount. I think for horsing around these should be awesome. Probably with the 1/2.3" sensors of an action cam this would be quite different FOV though. Couldn't you get rid of all those bulky cameras and test them again with an action cam? ;) Haha
How bad is the vignetting with the 25mm on the GH5s? Since the GH5s has an even wider field of view and no Ex-Tele in 4K? Could you check for me and help me out? I found a great super 16 cine lens I’d like to get along with my GH5s.
What's the best mirrorless camera for videos under 600$? I mostly do videos like yours (where I talk alone in front of the camera) but I want to do some cinematic and some music videos. I'd choose between Panasonic GX85 (aka GX80/G7 Mk 2), Panasonic G7, Sony a5100, Sony a5000, Sony a6000. What's the best choice? Are there any alternatives that I haven't included in the list? The GX85 has very good in-body 5-axis OIS that whould be great to have if using vintage lens or some lens without OIS for cinematics. But the GX85 lacks a microphone input that the G7 has, and the G7 has the same sensor of the GX85, just without the in-body OIS and a worse shutter. The Sony a5xxx don't attract me a lot, while the a6000 should have higher definition and a mic input, but it's an older camera, so I'm worried about the stabilization, high-ISO performance and autofocus performance.
Thanks for the review ! May I ask if I can film in low light situations or make milkyway photos using them ? I mean, are they better than "real" m43 lenses ? Thanks in advance :)
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Have a quick question. Would any of this work on the full frame sensor of the Sony a7rii? I´m guessing no, but still wanted to ask :)
Hey Caleb, I know your channel is focused on dslr cameras, but I am really interested in putting c mount lenses go pro type cameras specifically the yi 4K+. I've noticed that it is possible, but it takes a bit of modding. There are kits to do it, but I've been leery because the videos of people doing it aren't as professional or in depth as yours. Maybe if you need ideas you should check it out, I think it would be very interesting and could make for a good video. I hope you consider it, I know you like to tinker around with stuff.
Not a complaint, more of a comment, but you changed the type of shirt you normally wear? That shirt you wore in this video really woke up the eyes lol.
I bet! I'm getting into videography almost full time and I'm strongly considering switching from the A6500 to the GH5. Little worried about the sensor size of the GH5 though. Have any thoughts on that?
You know, that's why I like your channel more and more. You are not pretentious and you do not even gear slap us in the face. You present us budget things with the pros and cons, but it works and serves perfectly to be creative.
This is the idea. It's not about the gear! Please do not stop and continue to give us affordable equipment reviews, because most of us are not rich and just want to make good videos and photos without spending tons of money.

Thank you Joana! Lots of yummy budget gear to be had these days!

Aw thank you Don!!! Means a lot man.
That table layout was top notch. I love the look. There's even clothes pins!
Thanks Tech Today! Figured I'd try to keep up with all the awesome tech UA-camrs!
DSLR Video Shooter that lighting was amazing dude
I love how in-depth you go into the lenses 🙌🏽

C-Mount lenses are pretty nice
Here I am, researching Fujian lenses, and I see this. Then I check when it was uploaded. Well done, nice timing.
I was looking for a cheap alternative to a pancake lens, so would you recommend the 35mm 1.6 version for a more pocketable setup?
Nice! Glad to be of service. I have some pancake lenses in the works. This would definitely be similar albeit a little longer.
DSLR Video Shooter Thanks!

Do it! :)
I second this, it literally looks like cgi it’s so perfect
The best of all CCTV Lens videos, THANKS!
It is so difficult to believe that there are so good opportunities for so cheap lenses over there!
Wow great find Caleb, love the look of the 35 and 50
Thanks Wingroll!
I own the 25mm, it does have a unique, vintage kind of look. That makes sense right now since the faded film/vintage look is trending in photography and video.
Thanks so much! I'm still looking into the budget camera you recommended for me on the chat so this is gonna help me out a lot!
Thank YOU for watching!
I´m also looking for a budget camera. Can you help me out?
I own the 25mm 1.4 and have used it with clear image zoom and is ok, but the fujian 35mm 1.7 is awesome, I WENT THE EXTRA MILE AND GLUED (epoxy) A 34 TO 52MM ring adapter AND I CAN ATTACH MY ND FILTERS TO IT 👌👍👐👐👐

I love the look honestly, it has a sort of vintage feel; but still looks crisp when used right.
I always see these lenses online, and always wonder how good they are. Thank you! Awesome video!
Love the macro tip Caleb :) thankyou so much for making this video!
Thank YOU for watching Ahmer!
Those seem super fun. I really enjoy manual focus and novelty lenses. I'm going to check these out
i love it to see you reviewing 4 of em
this video is worth watching
I'm having fun with my C-mount lenses. I'll have to try out that 35mm f/1.6, it's the only one I don't have just yet. Great video!
Great video! I bought a c-mount lens a while back, and it's my favorite lens. I shoot more pictures with it than with my kit lens.
This video was so beautifully shot. I find myself admiring each shot.

I loved the review! Thank you so much!
I would love a review of theses lenses on a full frame E-Mount!
Ok i'll buy the 35, thanks 😁
Woe nyasar

For Canon M50 25mm works just fine. There is a crop when shooting in 4K, which makes vignietting disapear completely.
Might be fun just to get these for props! They are kind of cute!
They are very cute!
Ror Mario ikr
Loved the b-roll on this one!
I also own the Fujian 35mm and it's pretty nice. Edge sharpness is horrible but for b-roll or when your subject is centered it works well
Would be curious to see you review the Neewer/Meike manual lenses!
Have the 35mm 1.7 but didn’t know about the extension tubes should make for a compact macro setup. Thx for the tip!
No problem! One of my favorite features.
Loving your videos man! Keep up the good work
unexpected and highly appreciated topic! actually might order the 35mm. nice video
Nice! Great little lens.
Nice presentation. Like your style. Relaxed and to the point. Keep it up.
Awesome video! Straight to the point and very informative
Wow! Very nice!
I'm going to get that 35mm f/1.7 for my GX8. It'll be nice for when I don't want to carry the zoom around, plus the macro capability will be fun.
Thanks!

Great info! Should have mentioned the Canon issue more. One more reason to get a Panasonic/Sony cam!
Jeez how many blades does the diaphragm have on all of these? Looks like anywhere from 12 to 14? Insane!! Great video man!
You look like a giant holding miniature lenses. I approve of this.
I loved these lenses before. I had the 50, 35 and 25. I loved the 50mm f1.8 pixco lens before. I got all three for below $80.
nice sir! I've been looking for a few budget alternatives thanks Caleb!
Thanks Sully! Not Canon L level stuff, but darn good for under $30!
Nice Toasted! Not sure on the IS options. I usually leave it at 35mm but I'm sure there is a better way to go about it.
Good tip! It's almost imposible (or too expensive) getting a 35m filter or step up ring to use nd filters etc :) thanks!
very nice ... didn't even have c-mount tense on my radar... i might check that 35mm f1.7 lens out ... thanks man! :D
Neewer seems to have a version of the 35mm f1.7 That seems to be cheaper. Would it be the exact same lens?
I would imagine yes. Tons of the same lens with different housings/brands.
DSLR Video Shooter - cool! Might have to try it out! You can’t beat that price tag!
Very helpful. If you can find some cheap wider lenses that would be great!
There's a 4/3" covering 8mm f/3.8.
I believe there's also a 16mm... but that probably only covers S16 sensors like the BMPCC.
You'd need to use ETC if your camera has it, but that kind of negates having a wide lens in the first place...
Great recommendations! Thanks!
I’m buying a Sony a5100 within he next week and that is going to blow my budget and I was super disappointed because there is a few lenses I want to buy. I can now buy one or two of these to play around with while I save up for nicer lenses! Thanks!
Did you end up buying any of these?
Nice Video. Where did you get that table. It looks really good
i bought the canon eos m and the fujian 35mm 1.6, they are great thanks for your videos i love them. I'm wondering is there any cheap c-mount zoom lenses?
You are an excellent resource and great video! Love your content!
Thank you Powerpups! Glad you're enjoying the videos!
This video is older but extremely useful to someone like me who just ordered a Canon M camera and is awaiting delivery. I would just like to ask you about your recommendation, the Fujian 35mm 1.7. Which types of adapters can one get to use standard-sized ND filters on that one?
Thanks yet again. Your videos have been tremendously helpful! Just bought the 35mm F1.7 off of eBay using your link. Hope you get a commission. :)
Great content as always, I'm happy to use the referral links to support you and all your awesome work.
They also make APSC cmount lenses $20-$60 to avoid vignette...
Hi,
it was a long time...so, first of all, congrats for this concise vid and thanks for the specs and all that help of yours!
Sincerely,
Max
Great content, thanks dude!
I liked your video and purchased 35mm f1.7 for my a5000 thanks
how was the overall performance?
Also a heads up: the 35mm 1.7 here has a thread size of....35mm. I can't tell you the ridiculous trial and error I just had to go through to figure this out. So 35mm Is the filter/step up ring size you'll need for that one.
I can imagine!
Fascinating video!
Awesome lenses and a great haircut btw :)
Thanks Roman!!!
MEIKE LENS in the next video! Please! You are awesome! Thank you again
That is on my list!
Love this! Thanks for the suggestions. Now can we get one for the Canon please?
More lens videos in the works!
Thanks for the video. Which is fujian 35mm 1.7 lens filter size?
What an amazing video, thank you so much dude.
Panagor 35 - 70mm can you pls let me know what is the adupter to Sony a7s2.. thanks..🙌
Hello
thank you so much for the nice videos that you always make, thy are really helpful.
question please? I have Panasonic lumix G7 and the kit lens 14-42, so i was thinking to buy also
the Panasonic 25mm but its a bit over budget, is there any of this lenses in this video you recommend for me to buy that can make same job of the panasonic 25mm, I want to have the nice poka blure.
what you suggest for me ?
thank you so much
Caleb, there is a 25mm/1.8 lens similar in style (and cost) to the 35mm/1.6 that you've shown.
Hey guys, can those Green Circle ones get all the frame in focus or are they just like the Fujian ones that can only focus on the center or the sides?
They cover APS-C/S35.
Just not fullframe.
Those 'green circle' lenses are nice, but kinda irrelevant to the Caleb's video, as they cost $60+ (and I would buy 7artisans lens for this money anyway)
Good to know! Thanks Alex!
Thank you
Thanks for the video. How can I put a filter on this fujian 35mm 1.7 lens?
Exactly what I was looking for :)
I plan to convert both my webcam (logitech 4k) and a cheap action camera to CS mount. I think for horsing around these should be awesome.
Probably with the 1/2.3" sensors of an action cam this would be quite different FOV though.
Couldn't you get rid of all those bulky cameras and test them again with an action cam? ;) Haha
Whats the camera gear ur filming on? really clear n n great clarity.
How bad is the vignetting with the 25mm on the GH5s? Since the GH5s has an even wider field of view and no Ex-Tele in 4K? Could you check for me and help me out? I found a great super 16 cine lens I’d like to get along with my GH5s.
Just got the 35mm 1.7 to be able to get some nicer portrait shots while saving up for the Sigma 30mm
Terabit Tech g7
G7
try to find a cheap used gh4 and wait for a bargain for a lens on ebay
Thanks for the review !
May I ask if I can film in low light situations or make milkyway photos using them ? I mean, are they better than "real" m43 lenses ?
Thanks in advance :)
Thanks for great video again
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Have a quick question. Would any of this work on the full frame sensor of the Sony a7rii? I´m guessing no, but still wanted to ask :)
Hey Caleb,
I know your channel is focused on dslr cameras, but I am really interested in putting c mount lenses go pro type cameras specifically the yi 4K+.
What did you shoot this video on? The images are crazy nice man
GH5 with the new 400Mbps ALL-I settings and V-LOG. Crazy nice to grade, file sizes are a bit much though!
I bet! I'm getting into videography almost full time and I'm strongly considering switching from the A6500 to the GH5. Little worried about the sensor size of the GH5 though. Have any thoughts on that?
I have the 25mm as well. It's definitely nice, but don't mess around with the insides ha.
Haha! Thanks for the tip Nate!
