To be perfectly honest, I don't expect anything to happen unless Valve themselves sets down a firm stance and actually allocates resources to fixing TF2. It's not going to happen. If you want to play legitimately, the best way to handle a large stack of cheaters is to leave. If it's 1-2 cheaters and it doesn't look like there's much coordination then having 2-3 friends is usually enough, and against a full 6 stack of cheaters just leave the game. I, personally, enjoy TF2 as a game enough to play it legitimately, but in the current state of TF2 hackers are just a fact of life. I got here from some random-ass tftv thread I was reading and figured this was a worthwhile video to comment it on. Those behind cheats are determined, intelligent, and most importantly hacking a free-to-play game where accounts are obscenely easy to replace. Even normal users know at this point that having your phone number attached to a banned account gets the other accounts banned too, and y'all aren't that stupid. There are a variety of reasons to hack, and the most common is boredom after 10 years of TF2 mixed with the schadenfreude of ruining games from what I've been seeing and hearing, so if you want to confirm that or give more insight then feel free to. If you also want to confirm this, isn't the best way to deal with a hacker to be level-headed anyways? It's just a game. If it stops being fun it's easy enough to f10+enter and play some MMORPGs or something. There's also the option of getting good enough to play on pugchamp and playing during peak hours/b4nny streams to avoid hackers. Also, if you're tenacious enough, I've personally gotten hackers to leave MGE servers by just getting them bored by playing ~10+ consecutive games against them without saying anything. It doesn't take TOO long and it's not that boring if you can just take it as a challenge, although I wouldn't recommend doing it right before you need to sleep or go somewhere. It takes time if the hacker is a little hard to bore as well. I feel like I'm an outlier though, how common is it to run into players like me who just take the appropriate actions instead of screaming "FOOK HAKER GO BUN YURSELF FOOK OFF M8 TEM PLS KIK"? I usually go through the normal status->steamid.xyz identification process of course and attempt to ask for a kick once or twice, but sometimes I just don't care enough and just play anyways.

1. Why get angry over video games, much less ones that are dying a slow, painful, particle-effect-attached death by articles of clothing? 2. I use NCC now. NCC is superior but pricey, lmaobox is great if you just want something that works without any hassle and don't need to HVH, Lith is okay for HVH and is free, but the lithiumcheats community is cancerous. 3. I just don't. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 4. After 1100 hours of playing legit, I got bored. So I tried trading. Then the market went to shit. Then I tried lmao free on an alt and the game was fun again. And now here we are. But yeah, I don't use lmaobox anymore. Used to, though.
