Have you ever listened to an album for the first time and just knew in that moment that you’ll be listening to it for the rest of your life? KIWANUKA is a timeless masterpiece.
Listening to this album for the first time, I was legitimately so giddy feeling like I had made a triumphant discovery. I had always liked his music before, but this one just took everything to another level.
Absolute gem of a musician. I can already see the man, and the musicians involved in the record, going down in history.
Hes are marvin gaye.. and its a shame not the whole world knows. But they will.

Best Album of the 2010's Decade and there were a lot of good ones, but this one really struck a chord with me. One of my favorites of all time.

Back in 2016 I heard Black Man in a White World on BBC 6 Music while driving, all I could think of after that was to get home and find out who the singer was. Since then I have been a big fan of Kiwanuka's.
Michael, I absolutely love your music! I along with some friends that the pleasure of seeing you at the Magic Bag in Metro Detroit in September of 2012, you were playing a show that included Marcus Foster and The Bahamas. We still talk about that show to this day and enjoy your continued success. Be safe and keep the music coming!
